Delightful Cottage Retreat

Warm, cosy, clean & comfortable. Great location to walk to town & waterfront & beach. Cottage was sold after we booked but everything still went smoothly. Only complaint - chaise lounge should be replaced by a small 2 seater lounge. We plan to stay here again

Great location and beautifully presented

The cottage was as described. Very clean, cosy and well equipped. Our hosts Cate and John made us welcome and were available to help with anything we needed. Walking distance to beach and town.

A delightful quaint apartment

Our host, Cate, greeted us with welcome and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. She provided great suggestions on what to do and where to dine which was perfect. Everything was distance which was easy after our drive. The accommodation was perfect for a short stay which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would recommend without hesitaton.

We and our dog Ruby very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully restored 19th century cottage. It has everything you need to relax and recharge after a day of site seeing. Recommend 100 percent to fellow travellers on the Great Ocean Road,

The perfect getaway

A real find this beautifully renovated cottage is perfect in every way. Ideal for a couple with their dog. An ideal location too and Cate and John were great hosts giving us lots of good advice on places to visit and eat.

Select, small and very stylish

This lovely cottage exceeded expectations. It was beautifully appointed. The linen was superb, the bed was super comfortable and what a delight to hear the wind in the trees outside as you drifted to sleep.

Beautiful cottage with perfect amenities

Cate welcomed us with the lights and heater on and the fire ready to go. She was very helpful with her knowledge of the area and in particular, places to eat. Everything I can think of was supplied; even a champagne stopper (I forgot mine so was very pleasantly surprised to find one in the drawer), chilled filtered water in the fridge and treats in the cupboard. The cottage was furnished beautifully and the shower was extra large with good pressure. The location was great too. Thanks Cate and John for your hospitality. We loved ‘The Dog House’.

Cozy and relaxing

Terrific little cottage with all the charm Port Fairy offers. Hosts Caty and John were very easy to deal with and provided the perfect setting for our stay. Everything was beautifully presented and their suggestions for places to eat were excellent as well. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Ideal location for humans and dogs

Nice size property in great spot, close to township, wharf, river and beach. Quiet and cosy at night, and we were grateful to be able to bring the dog with us. Good basic equipment and self catering was a breeze. But also offered lots of nearby walking distance dining options.
