Phenomenal stay with delicious breakfast

We had a terrific stay. Mary and Chris were lovely and went out of their way to make our night at Bright on 5th special. The house (Including our room) were clean, very comfortable and stylish. Breakfast was a dream!

Lovely guesthouse in Port Elizabeth!

I stayed at Bright on 5th for a week while working in Port Elizabeth, and I had a wonderful stay. The room was large and comfortable, with a sofa and table and chairs and a desk, and self-catering amenities including a microwave, toaster, water kettle and tea/coffee and small fridge. The bathroom was also spacious, with a separate shower stall and a large soaking tub. The B&B is in a quiet area, but it is still walking distance or a very short drive to a few restaurants, a mall, and the beach and promenade. The breakfasts were delicious and huge - I definitely ate more than I usually do for breakfast, and often skipped lunch! Mary and Chris were so accommodating and helpful with recommendations on dining and activities. I will definitely stay here again! My only complaint is that the wifi was very slow and spotty - I often had to revert to using the wifi modem that I rented because the guesthouse wifi wasn't working or would cut out.

Excellent would recommend anyone to stay.

We stayed on 2 separate nights and Mary and Chris made us feel ever so welcome. The Guest House is excellent and I can't speak highly enough of the excellent accommodation and the way we were looked after. I hope we can stay again in the future.

Mycket trevligt värdpar som driver ett litet nybyggt mkt fräscht guesthouse. Lugnt läge med kort promenad till strand och restauranger. Jag kommer åka tillbaka!

This is a stylish house/hotel with an exceptional service. The location is close to the beach. The owners are very friendly and supportive. Good choice if you stay for a few days in Port Elisabeth

Great gem in the Summerstrand area. Owners are extremely friendly and make you feel right at home. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfast is great.

Great location, safe, clean, and friendly

Two adults and a teenager stayed in a two bedroom suite. Lots of room, comfortable beds, perfectly clean. The breakfast was delicious. As a matter of fact, I need to ask for a recipe. We will certainly return!
