Enjoyed the stay. The Chalet owner was very helpful . Room was great, clean. Just hot water in the shower was not functiining very well..other than that all were perfect.
It's was amazing stay in the Wonderland Private Chalet, PD. The view from this unit is very nice. Nearby beach and pool. Next will try the chalet with the private pool.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
the environment was nice but lot of things that can be criticized
The owner was very rude. Any complaints or requests were responded to rudely. Instead of making anything better, he would blame the customer. It's true that there are little cockroaches in the bathroom and the room smells musty. The floor is also creaky. The owner was very inflexible and it was quite a weird experience talking to him. He refused to allow us to opt for the cheaper room we found on Agoda, but after we checked out he told us we should have asked him refund the difference (which he had earlier refused). The room furnishings were not great either. The staff employed was more interested in her mobile phone than the customers during check in and check out. I paid RM247 for one night. I wouldn't do it again if I were PAID RM247 to stay there. The pictures look good but it might as well be a video game. The reality is not good. Don't waste your money on this property. That says it all!
I am not a fussy traveler but when u r with family especially with a baby, u need to be very fussy tho. The property was in a strategic place where u r accessible to few eateries, beach and with the wonderful view. However it is totally spoiled with a very minimally maintained property.
1. Squeaky wooden floor (loud enough if you walk on it during wee hours);
2. Impaired & spoiled facility (door lock; tub hand shower; hand bidet; small table at balcony);
3. Flying & baby roaches everywhere (sprayed insect spray when we were away & collected few dead roaches once we were back)
The only thing that made me to stay was the wonderful sea view and no mobile line coverage (can stay away from phone ;-) ).
I've been around many places and I place great importance on the air conditioning. This room's air conditioning is fantastic. Some properties I've stayed at required cleaning of the filter element and I've done it many times just to get the satisfaction I wanted. The place had been thoroughly cleaned before my arrival and the host made sure there was someone on hand to receive me.
Some of the properties at this resort had been leased/bought over by owners from the main resort adminstration, I guess. Facilities on site was adequate but some were closed to guests. Couldn't utilise most of it as I was more into doing fishing.
Food at the resort is limited but restaurants nearby are about 10, 15 mins. walk away and there's variety. Definitely a good choice to unwind and relax, say for a couple of days.
