Enjoy direct lake access. The rocky shoreline is slippery for the first 100 feet; take caution with rocks. But beyond that, the water’s great for swimming—water shoes recommended.
A 5-minute walk along the shore leads to Centennial/Cedar Bay Beach, a large public beach with deep swimming waters, space for tents, BBQs, and even pets. The fireworks show on Saturday night is a great opportunity to enjoy it on the beach.
