This fantastic 60 year old traditional property called " Dom Carlos Paradise Seaview Villa " recently modernised inside and outside offers the holiday makers an ultimate fantastic place to relax, where you can enjoy the sun on the villa from sunrise to sunset.
This Villa is unique, it offers not only a villa but can be used as 2 separate apartments both with their own entrance. Ideal for a family who not only want to share the Madeira experience with their children but also come with their grandparents who can live under the same roof but have their own privacy. CAN ONLY BE RENTED BY THESAME FAMILY OR FRIENDS (NEVER SEPARATE)

Dom Carlos Villa have a fantastic sea and coastal views that stretch for miles. This villa is located in Ponto Do Sol on the south side of Madeira that is the warmest area to enjoy the warm sunshine all year and also on a very quiet road but only a few minutes from the Ponta do Sol Village, sea front.
Paradise Villa offers 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 dining areas, 2 lounges. There is a very large patio area on the back of the property that also has a sunroom to chill out and for those who want a little excercise there is a treadmill and massage machine. In front there is a swimming pool, also barbecue with table and chair for dining out, with a fantastic View, sunrise every morning and sunset in the evening from your own terrace.

Great clean house

A beautiful big house! Clean and everything is there. Lovely swimming pool. Located on a busier road, but we had little trouble with that. Great stay!

Es ist nicht alles Gold, was glänzt

Unter dem Vermieternamen Carlos Teixeira scheint eine Immobilien-Gesellschaft zu existieren, dessen Verwalterin eine sehr kommunikationsfeindliche Verwalterin ist. Sie antwortete monatelang nicht auf Anfragen, erst auf mehrere Aufforderungen von fewo-direkt hin meldete sie sich kurz. Was gut war: -Bessere Wohngegend, ruhige Nachbarn,-Zentral auf der Insel und nicht weit von den Hauptstraßen, gut für Ausflüge-Super Aussicht Rtg. Ost, Süd und West,--beim Check-In war die Verwalterin anwesend. Was schlecht war:-Offenbar sind die Fotos im Prospekt hier deutlich älter und ein nasser Terrassenboden ist geschickt für schöne und kontrastreiche Fotos rund um den Pool,-Die Möbelstücke draußen wie drinnen sind deutlich älter, das sollte erwähnt sein, die Pflege an sich ist halbwegs okay, es gab hier keine Mückengitter,-Von fewo-direkt war nicht angegeben, dass eine Steuer pro Person von 2 /Tag/max. 7 Tage fällig ist, musste vor Ort noch bezahlt werden,-Kaum Kontakt, seit Februar gar nicht, und nur zum Schluss das Nötigste in Kurzform und auch nur mit verstärktem Druck von fewo-direkt nach Tagen möglich,-Nach Meldung von defekter Kaffeemaschine wurde diese nicht ausgetauscht, sondern die Meldung mit „Daumen hoch“ beantwortet…(?), eine alte Espresso-Maschine für 2 Tassen wurde aus der anderen Wohnung als Alternative angeboten,-Der Toilettendeckel, der seit vielen (mind 5) Jahren im EG-Bad defekt ist (s. ältere Bewertungen), war immer noch defekt-unmöglich!-

Ferienhaus mit leider nicht so tollen Erfahrungen!

Wir waren vor 6 Jahren bereits schon mal in diesem Ferienhaus und waren diesmal leider enttäuscht über die Sauberkeit. Kakerlaken und Ameisen in der Küche, als wir dies gemeldet haben bekamen wir ein Mückenspray vor die Tür gestellt. Als wir ankamen musste ich erst mal noch Wäsche abhängen, dreckiges Geschirr... Witzig finde ich, dass bei unserem Aufenthalt vor 6 Jahren im EG die Klobrille kaputt war, dies ist sie beim jetzigen Aufenthalt immer noch, sehr seltsam. Sehr laute Straße mit sehr viel Lärm auch nachts, hier stimmt die Beschreibung auf keinen Fall. Den Grill im Außenbereich haben wir auch verdreckt vorgefunden. Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin enden eher in Diskussionen, dies leider nicht professionell. Alles in allem waren wir diesmal enttäuscht und werden dieses Haus definitiv nicht mehr buchen. Verblijf uitstekend. Kontact met eigenaar via de app verliep correct. De locatie vinden in donker gaf wel wat problemen. De omschrijving van de locatie moet vanuit de auto gezien kunnen worden. Wij kwamen s avond tegen het donker aan, en konden het bewuste kapelletje niet zien vanuit de auto. Waardoor we dankzij hulp van derden die ons vooruit reden het gevonden hadden.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Wir waren zwei Wochen in dieser schönen Villa und haben jede Minute genossen. Es war sehr sauber und alles, was man braucht, vorhanden. Die Betten sind sehr gut, die Außenanlage ebenso. Morgens musste man die Fenster schließen, da der Verkehr recht laut war. Im Großen und Ganzen empfehlen wir dieses Ferienhaus sehr gern weiter.

Wundervoll gelegenes Ferienhaus mit zwei abgeschlossenen Wohnungen und einem schönen Außenbereich.

Die Lage des sehr gepflegten Anwesens mit dem wundervollen Ausblick ist auch als Ausgangspunkt für viele Aktivitäten ideal und lädt mit der sehr großzügig angelegten Terrasse, dem Pool, dem Fitnessbereich sowie dem überdachten Grillplatz auch immer wieder zum Verweilen ein.

Pesadelo de Casa de Férias

Já fazemos férias na Madeira há 7 anos. Já tivemos experiências excelentes e outras boas, mas esta foi a pior experiência de férias que tivemos! Para começar a limpeza: do pior, desde o pó, até aos lençóis das camas com baratas mortas, as casas de banho ficavam alagadas de água após os duches, nas 19 noites passadas foram eliminadas de dentro da casa 6 baratas e 4 sardaniscas de considerável tamanho . De noite era impossivel dormir devido ao calor insuportável acumulado durante o dia dentro do imóvel e devido ao barulho constante nasruas frontal e traseira que delimitavam o imóvel. Privacidade não existe! Comodidades muito aquêm do mínimo desejável. Definitivamente não recomendamos este imóvel nem aos nossos inimigos!

From beginning to end..............

From beginning to the end of our month long stay we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The location is excellent surrounded by banana plantations which are situated on the mountain side, the views are beautiful, don’t forget your walking boots there are some excellent walks with breath taking views, we particularly enjoyed walking the Levadas, we would recommend you get the “walk me” app, it will cost £4.99 for the full maps, but well worth it! The Villa itself was clean and spacious with all the “mod cons”. Luisa was very helpful, nothing was a problem and she was always eager to assist, also the neighbours were very friendly and kind, and everyone spoke or waved and supplied us with various fruit and vegetables all freshly picked locally, we enjoyed watching the bananas being “picked” and loaded for transport to market. Locally, there are a number of excellent restaurants and cafes in Pota Do Sol, we particularly enjoyed a morning coffee and a bite of breakfast in Dos Amigos a local restaurant and very reasonably priced with great service, there is also a beach bar where we sat and watched beautiful sunsets on a number of evenings. We are planning to return to Villa Dom Carlos and look forward with anticipation to our return.
