Welcome to our beautiful home in the heart of Ponta Delgada, where classic charm meets modern comfort. Our house is full of character, showcasing many of its original features that we have lovingly preserved. Located in the heart of the city centre, Canto Do Atlântico is the ideal base to explore São Miguel.
Close to the island's best restaurants, cafes and natural wonders, our home sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms. Beyond the bedrooms, you'll find 3 bathrooms, a spacious living area, dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor patio with a “churrasqueira” and a large basement. Alongside plenty of free street parking, our house also has a private garage - a rarity in the city.
A. Ground Floor:

▪️Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave, Nespresso, and dishwasher, perfect for all your culinary needs.
▪️Outdoor Patio: Directly off the kitchen, the patio features an outdoor dining area and an original “churrasqueira”, perfect for BBQs.
▪️ Laundry Room: A separate room with a washing machine, located off the patio for easy access.
▪️Additional Full Bathroom: Located off the laundry room, this extra bathroom also includes a shower, providing a convenient spot to rinse off and refresh after a day at the beach or exploring.
B. First Floor
▪️ Air conditioning unit in the first floor to ensure cool air flows through all the bedrooms and the rest of the house.
▪️ Master Bedroom & Large Third Bedroom: Both rooms offer plenty of space and comfort and are furnished with queen-sized beds. Each room is equipped with a console table and mirror, providing an ideal spot for getting ready or getting some work done.
▪️ Fourth Bedroom: Featuring bunk beds and equipped a console table with a mirror, this room offers plenty of versatility and practicality.
▪️Full Bathroom: Centrally located among the bedrooms, this bathroom is equipped with all necessary amenities.
Note: The property is located in the city centre and you may therefore hear street noise.
IMPORTANT: In accordance with local government regulations, as of 01 January 2025 the municipality of Ponta Delgada has introduced a "tourist tax" ("A Taxa Turística Municipal de Ponta Delgada"). At check-in a tax of €2 per person, per night, up to a maximum of 3 consecutive nights will need to be paid. This is applicable to all individuals aged 13 and over who are not residents of the Autonomous Region of the Azores. I appreciate your understanding.
