Unbelievable place in a perfect quiet location on the river. The innkeepers were kind and helpful and even secured our next reservation with friends in Brittany.

This is exactly what a hotel should be. Lovely and helpful staff. Comfortable and serene environment. Location near town but just a few steps far enough away to be quiet. Best hotel on the island I would venture to say. What a treat to stay there. Thank you.

The hotel is nicely located in the historic center of La Rochelle at a walking distance to the beach and to main attractions. The check in was very smooth and we got to meet Cecile (the owner) in person. Prior to the check in she shared with us a file about what to do and where to eat proposals in the city. Room was nice; just enough for 2 adults with AC and bathroom. Cecile was nice enough to keep our luggage at premises after our check out. I would recommend “un hotel en ville” if you are...

Small, basic room, not much space or anything fancy. But comfy enough beds, and included easy onsite parking. Overall quite good for a budget stay.

Ideally located close to Cognac. Charming arty Castle overlooking the Charente. Good food and pleasant staff.

Lovely hotel. Service very good except in the bar as this did not seem to be waitress service. Good position in cognac very central.

Beautiful hotel and parking was very convenient. Easy to walk to the famous market and the staff was very welcoming. Enjoyed dinner in the dining room… Excellent meal!

The hotel is in a nice area of town. The room was very clean and the bathroom was as well. We like this hotel. It is close to Paris, yet it is outside of the big city. The hotel is modern and new. We do not like old hotels which is difficult when you are in Europe.

It’s very nice hotel. Everything was okay, the staff was helpful, clear explanations. The rooms were clean, no bad smelling, the bedding and the mattress were perfect and clean. The breakfast was also perfect a lot of choices
