Every thing was great until we went to bed …motel was directly opposite the bar and grill where we had our dinner …then someone drove away from there and hit the road markers right outside our room…and we had to go outside to see what was going on…2 of the road markers were broken..a bit scary..not the best spot if you want peace and quiet

Great location bang on the veach. Away from the holiday crowd and stil accessible to all amenities and beaches. Highly recommended

Great customer service!

This was one of my favorite stays during our month in New Zealand. The staff really gave excellent advice about what to do and see. The cabin was very clean and our cabin came with cookware and linens.

We loved being beachside and having a long beach to walk, despite all the rain. It is also close to The Grove, a interesting place to explore. It was great having a kitchenette so we could picnic and dine at the beach.

Heaven on Earth!

We loved this location! So glad we drove another hour over the mountain to stay here vs. Motueka. 2 nights was not enough though, I could stay a week! Little grocery shop right next to the park, super convenient. o to the Mussel Inn at least once for dinner while youre there!

Loved our little cabin and its location right next to the beach. The view, water, was stunning. The surrounding area was beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our time.

If you need to house 7+ people at the same hotel cheaply, do this. If you don't go some place nicer. Outside BBQ is right next to the recycling and rubbish. The kitchen, the utensils you are provided in your room and the BBQ them selves while functional are at the visibly tired end of their lives. And the guy I presume is the owner, had a patronising manner coupled with a "Gordon Britas" persona that just managed to grate on me. You never know, you might find him charming. A few other people I spoke to had stopped at other Top 10 Holiday parks around New Zealand and said this was the worst one. I stayed at a couple ten years ago, and concurred.

Thanks for your review Andy. It's hard to accept your negative comments as you never mentioned anything when you came into the office the day after your 1st night to extend your stay to 2 nights. Our standard rooms that you stayed in are our budget option so next time you come please let us show you some of the other options as I think your parents may have preferred a Beachfront ensuite option. The staff love the comparison to Gordon Britas - thanks, I've a new nickname!

right on the beach, a relaxing place to stay

great place to stay while accessing all that Golden Bay has to offer, short drive to Wainui falls, Anatoki salmon farm and the gateway to farewell spit. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at top 10 - a bar frdige in the mini cabins would be awesome but survived without - camp was clean and kitchen and shower facilities are well placed in the camp. would stay here again :)

Relaxing

This was the perfect place to chill out after a busy few weeks touring NZ. Beautiful beachfront setting. Easy access by car to other beautiful places.

Great Cabin

A great place to stay right on the beach front. Quiet, comfortable room, not spacious but perfect for our stay.

Over priced

Over priced and over rated Cheaper at motels were you are serviced not locked in a small shed with 5 beds and miles from utilities that you have to pay for everything not good for a couple only for a group

Great base for exploring Golden Bay

We stayed in a lovely motel unit in the camp. Had everything we needed. It was a great base for exploring the region and a short drive to Abel Tasman. There are several pubs/cafes close by.
