Beautiful and nice hotel. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel restaurant had delicious food. The beds were a little bit to firm for our taste. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is charming, oozes character with high ceilings, marble flooring and some stone walls. The rooms are extremely spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff are courteous and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone with a car wanting to visit southern Puglia.

Terrific place to stay in Poggiardo. Convenient to lots of the sights Puglia has to offer. This hotel is a great base, with friendly and welcoming staff and all the amenities you could ask for. Great breakfast too. I would recommend staying here if you’re touring the area.

Het hotel op zich is een mooi gerestaureerd 'Palazzo' in het centrum van Poggiardo. Al het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De eerste nacht (zaterdag) was er geluidsoverlast tot 2 uur 's nachts van een nabijgelegen bar/club/vereniging (dit weten we niet zeker). Toen het personeel vroeg hoe onze eerste nacht was meldden we dit en bleek dit een gekend probleem te zijn. Tijdens de andere nachten was er altijd wel geluid, maar niet zoals de eerste nacht. Het hotel is verdeeld in 5 'zones' : de bar (vanwaar je binnen moet), daarachter de ontbijtruimte van het hotel (binnen en buiten), daarachter een restaurant (binnen en buiten) dat ook wordt gebruikt voor huwelijken/feesten, dan is er het zwembad en op de volledige eerste verdieping het hotel. Omdat je telkens voorbij het restaurant moet lopen om naar het zwembad te gaan is dit soms vervelend tijdens een feest, je loopt tussen de genodigden in. Zij komen ook in het zwembadgedeelte, ook als is het in feite enkel toegelaten voor gebruikers van het hotel. Het ontbijt was niet slecht, maar regelmatig was iets op en werd het niet aangevuld, ook duurde het ontzettend lang om je koffie of cappuccino te ontvangen. Dit is echter geen verwijt naar de ontbijtdames, want ze deden hun best, maar de organisatie mocht anders. Ook was het ontbijt nooit consequent, soms werd je aan tafel bediend met fruit en een eigenecht, soms moest je het halen van het buffet, soms licht je kiezen waar je zat en soms was er een tafeltoewijzing.

Palazzo Circolone was beyond my expectations. They have recently added new rooms which aren't featured on website and we got one of them. It was actually two double rooms joined by a staircase. Beautifully converted with enormous high original vaulted ceilings and exposed stonework. The common areas in the hotel are wonderful, as is the breakfast terrace and pool area. Selection of home made cakes, warm pastries, cheeses, ham, prepared fruit, orange juice, choice of coffee.. The staff were exceptionally helpful, with lots of suggestions as to where we should visit right down to parking tips. The downstairs cafe/bar is a lovely area and never noisy. It is close to the pool for a drink or snack during the day. Poggiardo is an ideal base for visiting this area, and the village has several good restaurants and shops to get essentials. Free on street parking is close by. Totally recommend staying here, high quality hotel with lovely staff.

Fabulous service. They really care about your well-being and help you. On top a very nice restaurant with very good food. The room had no TV, a bit strange but I didn't miss it really.

Very nice stay

We spent 3 nights while touring the south of Apulia. The staff is very friendly and always available to help. The room and the common areas are very nice and stylish - perfect combo for those liking modern and classic styles altogether.
