The Rose Cottage - Steps from Lake Huron

PLEASE NOTE - This cottage does not have direct lake access from the backyard, there is NO beach access from the backyard. The stairs located at the back of the property are closed and must not be used due to erosion, which has made them unsafe. So guests can access the beach in two ways:

-Neighbouring beach access: A public/shared beach access is located next door to the cottage. Look for the small fence with the Canada flag and it is approximately 100 stairs down to the lake. Please DO NOT use the steps directly behind the cottage.

-Highland Glen Conservation Area: Guests looking for an alternative can use the nearby Highland Glen Conservation Area beach access. This public access provides another way to reach the Lake Huron shoreline and is a great option for guests who would prefer not to use the approximately 100-step access beside the cottage. Please note that water levels and shoreline conditions can change throughout the season.
