Retreat & Refresh
Wellness room was an unexpected perk, so relaxing. The innkeepers were friendly and treated the guests like family friends. The backyard deck and yard with a fire pit seating area and lawn games, shade trees and song birds were lovely.

The innkeepers Shawn and Julie were caring professional and friendly. The decor in the rooms was lovely. The breakfast was delicious. The grounds had lots of amenities. Lovely stay!!!

Julie and Shawn are exceptional hosts! 3 Waves is a beautiful property in a great location- walk to the beach and many historic sites. Homemade breakfast with engaging conversation each morning to relaxing fireside chat in the evening made this stay memorable for us.

3 Waves Bed and Breakfast was a beautiful and spotless home away from home. Julie and Shawn are very friendly and gracious hosts. It’s located just outside of town where you can easily find restaurants and beaches. We enjoyed our stay with them and will definitely return.

A wonderful stay where one can unwind. Going back!
Absolutely wonder stay in Plymouth. The owners had thought of everything to make the stay a wonderful experience. The stay is centered around one’s well being. There are massage chairs, a VR calming center, type of dry zero gravity “water” bed, and our room had a spa tub. They were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

3 Waves Bed and Breakfast was a great place to stay while visiting Plymouth. They have easy parking, spacious rooms with a relaxation room that was great. Breakfasts were very good and on time.

Our stay at 3 Waves Wellness was our first experience with a B & B. Owners, Shawn and Julie Talbott, were so hospitable and kind, providing an excellent, healthy breakfast each morning. Their home was beautifully decorated, and our room was relaxing. We would definitely stay again and will recommend 3 Waves Wellness to anyone heading to the Plymouth, MA, area.

This is a beautiful B&B. The owners, Shawn and Julie, can’t do enough for you as a guest. The rooms are clean and bright. The property is 5 minutes from attractions at Plymouth. It’s on 3A which is a main road, but the house is set back so you can’t hear the traffic noise. There is a sidewalk across the street that makes walking into town, about 1.5 miles, is doable, but hilly. I recommend this property if you’re going to Plymouth.

The Talbots are delightful: welcoming, interested in their guests, and very interesting themselves. They offered excellent breakfasts & were most accommodating. The treat is they have a special area for relaxing in a massage chair & other wellness features. The back deck & garden offer a green, natural oasis, and even a fire pit! I hope to go back on my next trip to the area!

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful B&B and had a wonderful time! It is located in close proximity to the area attractions, as well as the beach. Julie and Shawn are amazing hosts and made us feel right at home, giving us a relaxing and serene feeling during our stay. The house was well cared for and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and Julie went above and beyond to meet our needs. I injured my foot during our trip and Julie and Shawn were so helpful and thoughtful. Even though they are new B&B owners, you would never know it. They do an incredible job of making their guests feel at home. We would love to visit again!

Everything about this B&B was warm and welcoming, The innkeeper (Julie, unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to meet Shawn) is new to the B&B business but you would never know it—gracious, open, and eager to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Everything is fresh and open with an eye towards holistic wellness. Soft, comfy bed, healthy breakfast, and an enormous tub I could have lived in. I’ve stayed at many B&Bs, but never one I’ve loved as much as this. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I will be back.

The bed in the purple room was not of good quality, windows needed black out shades due to flood light being on until midnight. Overall was a good B&B with great owners and would love to return as a guest again!

We have just recently bought the bed and breakfast and are continuing to make upgrades. We hope you will stay with us again!

Traveling with another couple and rented the 2 bedroom suite. Disregard an older reviews as the property has new owners. The house is large and immaculately kept. The suite is located on the 3rd floor. There is no common area with the suite but guests are welcomed to use sitting areas on the first floor. Beds are extremely comfortable with climate cobtrollwd matress pads. More comfortable than my own bed. Breakfast was very good. Had a healthy flair. Juices, yogurts, whole grain waffles and turkey bacon. All sorts of coffees are available 24 hours a day. Clearly the owners are working to infuse this B and B with a wellness influence. The new owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. Had no problem with allowing us to set up cornhole in the back yard. The downtown restaurants and shops are a bit of walk. We had inclimate weather so we were unable to walk there. Unfortunately we were also unable to find any transportation. There were no available ride sharing drivers and we couldnt find a cab company either. Just something to be aware of. We loved it and and would definitley go back. The only hitch was the lack of transportation to downtown. This may resolve as more drivers return to work post pandemic.

We would highly recommend Above the Bay at Thornton Adams House. This B&B is fabulous. The house and rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The owners are warm and hospitable. The house is clean and beautiful. The area is quiet. Room at the back with trees outside; the ocean just across the street. Refreshing breakfast.

This place is a gem. A beautiful house and guest room that is well-maintained and very clean. The owners are warm, caring, personable and great hosts. They serve a terrific breakfast and are attentive to the needs of their guests. We had a relaxing and pleasant stay. We recommend this bed and breakfast highly.
