1 / DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Come and recharge your batteries all year round in this old Breton cottage of peasant-fisherman-seaweed in Pays des Abers. Dating from 1810, it was completely renovated in the rules of the art in 2016 by a local architect and local artisans. Bright, it benefits from all modern comforts. It offers the space of a large garden of 1300m2 and is located in a small quiet street leading directly to the sea close to the GR 34.
You will appreciate the subtle harmony between ancient and contemporary chosen by the architect. 132m2 and 4 bedrooms for 6 people.
The house consists of a main body comprising a living room of 30 m2 and its fireplace, a mezzanine with TV / Wi-fi, a living room of 20 m2 with a 2nd large granite fireplace with a wood stove, 3 bedrooms including 2 upstairs with sea view, a bathroom, 2 toilets. A new extension has been built. It contains the fully equipped kitchen opening onto the living room, a 4th bedroom, a 2nd shower room, a relaxation room upstairs with sea view. New bedding, barbecue and bikes available.
With its large sunny plot, the house lends itself to outdoor living in fine weather. You will enjoy meals in the garden and dinners in the light of the long hours of the Breton sunset.
You can rest in the afternoon in the easy chairs watching the children play badminton, frisbee or Mölkky on the large lawn. (Outdoor games provided, volleyball net)
In winter, you will enjoy the warmth of the stove when you return from an invigorating walk on the nearby coastal paths facing the raging sea.
2 / THE SURROUNDINGS LESS THAN 10 KMS
The house is located in the PAYS DES ABERS on the CÔTE DES LÉGENDES, a true concentrate of Brittany with a mild, changing and invigorating climate.
A paradise for nautical activities (kayaking, sailing, paddle, rowing, diving), the region is also a delight for walkers and cyclists who come to admire some of the most beautiful seascapes in France. (4 bikes provided)
Its quiet white sand beaches for an invigorating swim at high tide, its small islands accessible at low tide, its sandy coves offered for shore fishing, its peaks, its rocks, its coastal paths, its rich marine flora contribute to extraordinary variety of this coast.
The superb colors of the shore vary with the tides, the sky and the seasons. The navy or turquoise blue of the sea in the summer sun, gives way in winter to the immaculate white of the foam and the emerald green of the waves on windy days.
On the nearby "Île Vierge", the highest stone lighthouse in Europe welcomes visitors and signals the entrance to the English Channel from its 83m high and its breathtaking panorama.
The interior of the town is crossed by small roads which will allow you to discover by bicycle the typical hamlets, the chapels "Saint Laurent", "Saint Michel", "Notre Dame du Traon" and its ancient sacred fountain, countless crosses in stone, the "Pont du Diable" on the aber Wrac'h and its legend, the manor of "Kerouartz".
The possibilities of visits and discoveries abound: the museum of seaweeders in Plouguerneau, "Wrac'h island" accessible at low tide and its small lighthouse signaling the entrance to the aber. On the other side of the estuary, the semaphore of the aber Wrac'h port offers its art exhibitions and its panorama over the estuary, the islands and the open sea.
