Gîte La Demeure Océane - The Caretaker's House

Welcome to La Maison du Gardien, a cozy retreat nestled in Portsall, just steps from the sea and the harbor. I wanted to create a simple and warm place, ideal for a stay for two, right next to everything you desire.



This two-level house retains the charm of a caretaker's home, adjoining a characterful residence. Upstairs, you will find a bedroom under the eaves with its own bathroom and a bathtub perfect for relaxing after a walk by the sea. On the ground floor, a welcoming space awaits you: a fully equipped kitchen and a bright living room, perfect for sharing a coffee or a romantic dinner.



Everything can be done on foot. In just a few minutes, you reach the Portsall harbor, its friendly restaurants, and terraces facing the sea. Let yourselves be tempted by a traditional crêperie, a smokehouse restaurant, or a more refined dinner with an ocean view.



Nature lovers will be delighted: the GR34 coastal path passes nearby, offering beautiful hikes along cliffs, sandy beaches, and small coves. The sunsets over the Portsall bay are breathtaking.



Fancy an excursion? Brest is only 20 minutes away by car, with its harbor, museums, and vibrant atmosphere. But I bet you will especially enjoy the peace, fresh air, and gentle lifestyle in Portsall.
