Great location! Friendly staff. Best water pressure in a shower ever! My only reason for 4 stars is the bed. Could have been a bit more comfortable, but still managed a great nights sleep!

The Mountain View Motel & Cottages is a conveniently located inn located next to the Cabot Trail. It is like a step back in time and feels like a place where you could visit to unwind if you intend to spend a few nights on the northern side of the Route 30. The jewel in the crown is the attached restaurant that serves a good range of menu items including breakfast. If I return to this part of the world then I'd happily stay again.

Since there was no cell reception we were hoping for better WiFi. It was slow and kept buffering. The bathroom sink was installed crooked. The shower attacked you, the pressure was very forceful. The beds were old. BUT, the AC worked well! And the staff were friendly.

Great little motel. It's a bit dated, but clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was excellent. Allowed us to buy some beer from the restaurant for our room. We had arrived without any because the local store closed before we were able to get there. Breakfast was excellent. I definitely would recommend the Mountain View if you are looking for a reasonable priced stay and don't need something fancy. Great for the motorcycle crowd.
