Great place to stay to visit the area. We only stayed one night so we could visit the Samaria Gorge but wish we'd have been staying longer! The rooms have everything you need and the staff were very welcoming. The food was very tasty and we even went back for an evening meal after the Gorge!! The free transfers to the gorge are also really good. Definitely deserves more than 2 stars!!

The hotel staff were very thoughtful. Dinners there were excellent, especially the bean soup which I had two nights in a row. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to the Samaria Gorge trailhead, and the KTEL public bus service from Sougia drops passengers off right in front of the hotel. Highly recommended.

If you're going to Samaria, you should 100% stay here, no hesitation. The rooms are clean, it's near the hike, the food is so good - and the people are incredible. The second day of our stay, I had a flat tire near the hotel. The staff (possibly the owner) went above and beyond to help me: he called and successfully followed-up with the car company which led to them simply exchanging the car for a new one (they had previously told me I'd have to go on a 1+ hour ride with the truck, then wait for the repair, then come back in the middle of the night); he helped me find my girlfriend who I was headed to pick up (called the harbor in the city where she arrived to find her) and called a taxi company to pick her up and bring her back to the hotel - all of this without even having had to ask. This took 1+ hour of his time and he refused that I give any sort of compensation AND he initially didn't even know I was already staying at the hotel while he helped me - a very generous and kind man and staff. We were already extremely satisfied with the hotel, and were glad to come back here after a long hike - now, we'll make sure we visit again, and we encourage you to do the same if you're ever in the region.

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit dans cette hôtel avant les gorges de Samaria. De bon conseil pour réservation bateau et bus pour le retour. Il nous a emmené gracieusement au refuge pour le départ de la randonnée. Super petit déjeuner pour 7€.

Värt en natt extra.

Kanske min bästa hotellvistelse någonsin. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal, fantastisk prisvärd mat och lågt rumspris sommartid väger med råge upp för de små slitna detaljerna i rummet. Omalosplatån är en oas av tystnad och koklockor där högljudda cicador förbytts mot lågmälda syrsor på kvällarna. Hit kommer jag gärna tillbaka.

Hôtel de montagne familiale sans prétention mais très propre, avec un service de restauration de qualité fait maison et cerise sur le gâteau une serveuse qui parle le français. Le personnel est charmant. Je recommande vivement !

Ottima scelta per visitare le gole di Samaria

Hotel di montagna rustico ma confortevole. Le camere sono arredate in modo semplice ed essenziale ma non manca nulla. Personale gentilissimo. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la navetta gratuita per le gole di Samaria e il fatto che il bus di rientro abbia la fermata davanti all’albergo. Buona la colazione. Ottimo il ristorante per la cena.

Super hôtel

Hotel très bien situé pour le départ de la randonnée de Samaria, service de transport gratuit proposé le matin au départ des gorges de Samaria. Hôtel dans le style montagnard, clame. Accueil très agréable, personnel très sympathique, toujours souriant, qui anticipe même les questions et les demandes ! Nous avons passé un agréble séjour dans cet hôtel (2 nuits). Le transport gratuit (3 horaires) le matin pour aller au gorge. Nota : il n'est pas nécessaire de partir trés tôt, car l'après-midi, pour le retour, il n'y a qu'un seul ɓateau à 17h30 et il y a de la place pour tout le monde. Et les bus sont nombreux.

Merveilleux séjour idéalement situe pour Samaria

Très bon séjour. Chambre très propre. Personnel très accueillant. L hotel proposeune navette gratuite allant jusqu au départ de l'entrée des gorges. L'hotel est idealement situé poue visiter les gorges de Samaria. Petit déjeuner très complet. Le restaurant de l'hotel est excellent avec une cuisine familiale. Allez y les yeux fermés.

Emplacement idéal pour faire les Gorges de Samaria

Hôtel situé à Omalos, lieu dépaysant avec un restaurant traditionnel. Il est situé à 10 minutes en voiture du début de la randonnée des Gorges de Samaria (3 navettes prévues le matin par l'hôtel pour s'y rendre). Le petit déjeuner est très complet et les hôtes y sont très accueillants. La cambre est spacieuse et propre.

Très bien mais chambre bruyante (bruit d'eau qui coule et vent qui s'engouffre dans les conduits toute la nuit). Très bien placé néanmoins pour faire Samaria.
