This house is the right size for big groups. In that respect, it matched our need for space. The affordability of the home was great. We appreciated the location, and it was a peaceful place to stay. The living room's new furniture was comfortable, and the dining table was convenient.
Unfortunately, what this place lacked was attention to detail. We had to wash any dish, cup, pot, or pan we used to cook because they weren't clean. There was a layer of coffee grounds inside the cup cabinet. Additionally, we immediately had to go out to the store because there were no garbage bags except the one in the trash can, there was one hand soap, and very limited, 1-ply toilet paper. I reached out an asked about garbage bags, but they took several hours to reply, "Are there any under the sink?" And no, there weren't.
Because it was a heat wave, we had to keep the windows open, but there was only one fan provided in the house to keep air movement, and it didn't have feet, so we had to prop it up to use it.
The beds were like sleeping on a concrete slab. One of our party ended up sleeping on the couch and another rented a hotel room because of the combination of heat and uncomfortable beds.
The grill was dirty, so we were unable to use it. We were able to use the hot tub once we figured it out. There were no instructions provided about the house or its amenities. We would likely never stay here again.
