Welcome to Yew Villa in the heart of the trendy Bloomfield neighborhood! Our stylishly renovated unit, furnished for comfort, puts you steps away from Bloomfield's finest. Enjoy top-notch amenities like quality mattresses, fresh linens, a Keurig with coffee pods, Roku TV, and more. This stay is professionally managed, we can't wait to host you.

The space

Upon arrival, you will enter through the building front door using our highly researched Schlage smart lock. The living room area features a comfy couch, Roku Smart TV, and a stylish coffee table. The kitchen has a stainless steel appliances and white contemporary cabinets. Both bedrooms have a queen sized bed. One of the bedrooms has a nice desk to get your work done. The couch will be able to sleep one, and the two queens will sleep two people each. Washer/Dryer is free and is located in the kitchen area. If you have any additional questions about the space, do not hesitate to reach out!

Guest access

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire first-floor unit, providing privacy and convenience.

Other things to note

We do NOT provide parking. To maintain a peaceful environment, we utilize noise monitors to ensure our neighbors' comfort. We welcome furry friends for an additional fee of $25 per day per pet, making it easier for you to bring your beloved companions along for the trip.

Fabulous stay

The apartment was up to date and super clean. The hosts were great with communication. I would stay here again as well as recommend these hosts to anyone.

I thought the property was poorly maintained. None of the lamps in the bedroom worked nor in the kitchen. The owner directed me to check the circuit breakers in the celler. Lucky I didin't fall down the stairs and break a neck. The B/R carpet was filthy. The washer was full of mold and smelled like sewage. The entrance light didn't work making it dangerous to walk in and out. On street parking was sketchy. There were no supplies to the dishwasher. There were not addequate replacement sheets. The linens and towels were of low quality. The stair to the entrance had no hand rail. The neighborhood was described as Shadyside, it was actually the ghetto of Bloomfield. I'm done with VRBO. It was my second of two bad experiences with the company.

Very mixed b&b

I'll try to give a balanced review with both praise and criticism where it's due. GOOD: The b&b is well equipped, with washer/dryer that includes laundry soap. The shower is clean with plenty of hot water and good pressure. And the two queen beds were quite comfortable. BAD: This was listed as sleeping 5, with 2 queens and 1 "twin futon". But that "twin futon" was nothing of the kind. It was a standard couch about 5'7" across that did NOT pull out. I've never met anyone who "accidentally" referred to a generic couch as a "twin futon" so make of that suggestive wording what you will. Since there were 3 of us, with each of us needing his own bed, and all of us being taller than 5'7", one of us ended up having to stay elsewhere. The response by the host was to all this was that "it's important to clarify that the sofa does not count as bedding, as it is not a sofa bed" -- again, conflicting with the listing -- and that they would "certainly explore it and make any necessary adjustments to the wording." Which was of zero help. Other issues: The b&b LOOKS clean but was very dusty. Also, the couch was stained, and when we stripped the beds at the end of our stay, one of the mattresses and one of the pillows had large stains. Gross. I took pictures to document all of this. Finally, note that there is a bar close by and it can get quite loud at night and run late into the night. Overall, I would never stay here again. Draw your own conclusions.
