Hillbilly Hut of South Georgia

The Hillbilly Hut is a quaint, little home nestled off of a quiet dirt road deep in South Georgia making it the perfect getaway to enjoy peace and quiet. You might hear a cow bellow, rooster crow, or turkey gobble from the nearby farm of the Hillbilly Hut owners. In addition to the sounds of farm animals, you will hear many beautiful sounds of nature like bird chipping and squirrels playing in the wooded area just behind the home’s large back yard. The home features two porch area including a large front porch complete with rocking chairs and a view of the quiet, rarely traveled dirt road. The rear of the home features a screen porch overlooking the backyard and wooden area. Set up with a table and chairs, this is the perfect morning coffee to spot. The Hillbilly Hut is pet friendly, so feel free to bring your family dog and stroll the miles of dirt roads surrounding the home. Golf carts are also welcomed for exploration of the quiet country roads nearby. While exploring the surrounding areas, you will find fields of seasonal crops, spectacular old farm structures, and beautiful sunsets.

While the home does not feature Wi-Fi, cell service on many majors networks including Verizon and AT&T are exceptional. Guests can access hotspots via there cell phone to provide Wi-Fi to any needing device. However, we strongly encourage guests to unplug and enjoy the many provided a cuticles of the Hillbilly Hut. Outside you will find a picnic table for outdoor meals, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories, additional fire pit for outdoor cooking, horse shoes, and of course nature itself. Inside guests will find games such as Wheel of Fortune, Pictionary, cards, and more. The living area features a flat screen tv equipped with Dish Network. In addition, the master bedroom features a Smart tv. As previously mentioned, the ho e does not include Wi-Fi but personal streaming apps could easily be accessed via cell phone hotspot.

The fully equipped kitchen features a roomy dining table with room for 6. Full size appliances include refrigerator, microwave and stove. In the home, you will find everything you need to prepare meals including pots and pans, utensils, electric can opener, dishes, crockpot, and more. Dish towels, dish cloths, dish soap, and trash bags are all provided to make clean up a breeze. Coffee bar is stocked with multi cup capacity coffee pot, liners, and a few morning coffee essentials.

The master bedroom features a rustic log Queen size bed, nightstand, and large dresser. The closet space in the master is huge, perfect for storing suit cases during a lengthy stay. The Smart tv makes enjoying a movie in bed a breeze; after all, it is a vacation. Just off the master bedroom, you will find a half bath including a vanity and mirror.

The second bedroom features rustic, hand built log bunk beds perfect for the kiddos or additional guests. The bedroom also features a chest of drawers and large closet for storage during your stay. In addition, the guest room features a desk and chair with a view over looking the nearby farm.

Location just off the hallway, the full size bathroom features a tub/shower combo with all linens and towels provided. The laundry room features a fulls size washer and dryer with detergent included.
