The coffee maker was black inside the water compartment. I had to pick up silverware and dish soap from the dollar store because there was only 2 forks and spoons for a place advertised for 6 and no dish soap to clean dishes. "What a lovely week at the red barn! Every aspect of the home and the location are ideal for total relaxation. If you need to reset in nature and also appreciate art, antiques and architecture then the aesthetics make this the perfect place to stay. It’s like living in an art gallery and besides being comfortable, it’s truly a feast for the eyes. Waking up on the second floor with a view to the outdoors and the amazing ceiling was a treat. The living and dining areas are spacious and inviting. We cooked at the red barn a few times and the kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need. Truly a home away from home.Blythe is so kind and communicative and made the entire stay a breeze. She even recommended a local festival to us and we ended up having a great time that day. The home is close restaurants, shops, hiking and cute towns. A perfect stay in the Catskills to finish summer. Thank you, Blythe!"
