Family Wedding and reunion

All were excited to stay up in the mountains and be together for a few days. The hot tub was the biggest hit as for two days it rained quite a bit this was something they could still do along with the ping pong table and foose ball. All in all it was a more relaxed stay which made it nice for my hubbie. Thanks to Michelle for her explanation of the amenities that weren’t there and why also. It’s a nice retreat place to stay also!

West Point Graduation

This property was in a beautiful location nestled away in the woods. The house was exceptionally clean. There was plenty of space for our large group. I really appreciated all the extra pilows and blankets. I would highly recommend this property.

3rd year and counting

This was our third year spending part of spring break at this lovely house. If we can, we'll be back next year. The hosts are responsive but give us ample space. The house is quirky and cozy, with lots of options for activities indoors, walking the property, and enjoying the fire pit and hot tub just outside. We were able to cook meals, grill, and bake and only left to hit the grocery and get local ice cream. I know there are great hikes nearby, but my teens are not hikers -- however they do love being able to wander in the woods by the stream, and being away from the hustle and bustle of NYC life. Always a pleasure!

Perfect getaway in the mountains

This is our 3rd time staying, and like always it’s such a perfect getaway! The house is so beautiful and clean, and is a great spot to unwind. Love the fire pit and the hot tub! Located near wineries, breweries, and more- it’s always a nice time. Damon is really accommodating and a great host. They even left us some fresh eggs from the chickens on site!

Gorgeous home with amazing hosts!

The house was a wonderful home and was even larger than we expected. There were so many wonderful activities and the host was thoughtful in what is in the home. The location was perfect and our group was able to do so much in the house when we were not touring nearby Bethel. The host was wonderful and responsive to our inquiries, going above and beyond, Thank you again!

as advertised

home and amenities enjoyed by all age groups. the city-slickers were thrilled by the deer, and visiting the chickens and roosters. the location is beautiful and rural. easy drive from nyc and capital district.

Pleasure in Paradise!!!

The property and surrounding area was FANTASTIC!!! My family enjoyed not only the inside of the property but the exterior as well. We saw lots of wildlife and heard a tremendous variety of birds. Truly a remarkable experience! Our two teenage grandsons enjoyed volleyball, wiffleball and the inside games!

Amazing property!

This house was incredible. Spacious, clean, has everything you need, and is tucked on a hill with big grass lawns and trees. It is quiet and serene. The playroom is great for teens and adults! One of the best rentals we have stayed in for vacation.

Like being at grandmas house!

This place is wonderful. Our group of consisted of 3 families and we had plenty of space. The house feels so homey and the surrounding land and creek were wonderful! The kids roasted marshmallows and caught fireflies almost every evening. The game room was a big hit. Damon was as helpful as could be. We absolutely loved it. If I were looking for a rental in the area, I'd choose this one a million times over.

Love this house

Amazing home. More than expected. You will not be disappointed. Perfectly nestled on the bottom of the Shawagunk Mountains 15 mins from the town of Pine Bush. Lots to do and see. Nature at your front door. Our family of 10 fit perfectly with lots of extra space. Kitchen is more than stocked. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Place

We stayed for my son’s graduation from West Point, which is an hour away. We purposefully stayed a week to enjoy some time. The place was amazing. There is a state park close by that we hiked. We Laos went to the city for a day. It was a great house. There was room for our family of 10. The spa was a big hit. We would come back even though my son has graduated.

How do you describe the best vacation you've ever had!!

From the moment we saw the property, we knew we had made the right decision. It was beautiful inside and out! There was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy our privacy and then to come together for a meal or smores by the firepit! We've stayed at other properties, but this tops the list. Don't miss it!

sweet secluded getaway from NYC

This was our 2nd stay and even better, as this time we explored the woods behind the house where a brook runs back far enough we never found the end or edge of the property. Great hikes less than 20 min drive away, but honestly exploring the woods and stream was about our speed, with teens who are non-experienced hikers. Used the hot tub every night under the stars, built fires and did s'mores multiple times in the fire pit. Large porch with ping pong, foosball, keyboard and movie watching spot gave us plenty to do indoors, too. Well stocked kitchen, lovely views of nature from every window -- for city dwellers vacationing with extended fam, this was perfect.
