"Very nice English influenced clean house. Big garden with all the privacy. Private parking just next to the house. We had very nice chats with the owner. Because of a bit rainy weather sometimes we didn't use the swimming pool much, but the pool was very big and nice to swim in. Thanks Chris and Gill for this lovely week!"

"Excellent facilities overall - plenty of space and a lovely pool - perhaps a bit short on cooking pans, and a lock on the toilet would be good. The problems with phone and computer contact was beyond the control of the owner, but it did make contact tricky. "

"My wife, 7 year old daughter and I decided to have a 2 centre holiday in France, arriving to 4 degrees in Paris from Bangkok's 30 degrees. It was somewhat of a relief to arrive in Madiran at Le Prielle to a balmy 18 degrees. We were joined by my older children 16 & 17 from UK and so were 5 in total. "We were met by Kay and Neil and made to feel very welcome. The property was just as described and Kay had left us some provisions such as milk butter etc. The gite is very well situated to explore the region, and is a 20 minute walk into the village of Madiran, which has 2 restaurants and a boulangerie. Neil was always on hand to help us out with any questions and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice relaxing, peaceful holiday. Jim Relph."

A Day in Pau

"We really enjoyed our stay. The reception was welcoming, offered tourist information and recommended restaurants which we went to and enjoyed. The free secure parking was appreciated. The room was clean and spacious and had everything we required. We did not hear any street noise. The location was very accessible to walk to the tourist sights that we visited. We would stay there again. "

"Appart'City was perfect for our six night stay in Pau. We had all the amenities of an apartment with the services that a hotel provides. The location couldn't have been better on Rue Marechal Joffre with its lovely shops and restaurants.(Highly recommend Resto di Vin) It is a half-block from Place Clemenceau with its carousel and fountain, a block from the Monoprix, and two blocks from the Blvd. Pyrenees. Surprisingly, with all the activities right outside our door, the apartment was very quiet at night. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were able to take advantage of early check-in. "
