In one cabin the over the stove microwave and washer/dryer didn’t work from day one. Maintenance was notified and they made several attempts to “fix” the problem. On day Two, the over the stove microwave in the second cabin quit working. Again, maintenance was notified and they attempted to fix it. On day three maintenance decided that the appliances would need replaced. The appliances WERE NOT replaced during our stay. They did bring us a temporary replacement microwave.
Overall, the cabins are great for a multi family vacation. The location is great! If you read through the comments(which I failed to read ALL of them) on Aunt Bug’s(company that own’s the cabin)website, you will notice that there was an issue with the microwave a couple of months prior to my vacation. This is unacceptable! When you pay for something, you expect all things to be in working order. I understand that things can and will happen, but Aunt Bug’s knew that there was/is an ongoing problem with the appliances and neglected to fix them. Yes they did send out a maintenance person to “try” and fix the problem, but the bottom line is they played me for a fool, they were already aware of the problem! That is why I gave this cabin such a low rating, and it is very unfortunate, this could be a great place to rent.
