Welcome to your home away from home in Pickering, ON. This inviting basement unit combines comfort and convenience, making it an excellent choice for both short visits and longer stays.

The suite features a private entrance, giving guests complete privacy throughout their stay. Inside, you’ll find a cozy living area where you can relax after a long day, complete with a comfortable sofa and TV for entertainment. A fully equipped kitchen is available for those who enjoy preparing their own meals, stocked with the appliances, cookware, and utensils you’ll need. The bedroom is warm and welcoming, furnished with fresh linens, soft bedding, and plenty of storage space. A modern bathroom, supplied with fresh towels and toiletries, ensures a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The quiet environment also makes it ideal for guests who may need to work remotely during their stay.

The property is set in a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood, offering a calm retreat while still being close to all the essentials. Guests will be only minutes away from local shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and Pickering Town Centre for shopping and entertainment. For those who enjoy the outdoors, there are parks and trails nearby, while easy access to Highway 401 makes commuting to Toronto or exploring the surrounding areas simple and convenient.

***There will be a $350.00 CAD security deposit. This is not a charge but a temporary hold on your payment method, and it will be released within 5 to 7 days after checkout as long as no damage occurs during the stay.
HOUSE RULES:
• No smoking allowed. By booking, you agree that violating the smoking rule you automatically forfeit your security deposit (if any), and an additional $500 charge will be applied for professional deep cleaning and `de-smoking` of the house/unit.

• Parties / events, lack of decorum and disruptive noise will not be tolerated.

• Guests are not allowed to exceed the agreed upon occupancy limit in the reservation. Any unregistered visitors will be charged $50/person/night for the full reservation.

• Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10PM-8AM. No loud music anytime.

• If the neighbors are disturbed, host reserves the right to ask the tenant to vacate the premises with no refund.

• Pets are welcome (only if included in reservation), however
o Strictly no pets on any furniture. $200 deep cleaning fee for violating house rule.
o Guests agree to pay for any damage (to furniture/wood/wall etc.) by their pets.
o Guest to get own dog bed & bowls and immediately clean/pick up any waste by pets.

There is absolutely NO soundproofing between the upstairs unit and our VRBO unit. The upstairs guests had to have been wearing clunky shoes and were constantly walking around. The cannabis they were smoking filled our unit and the outside door was constantly banging close. This lasted well after the noise curfew until 3am. No matter how many times we contacted the VRBO owner, the situation was never resolved.
