VERY RARE - D-DAY House with garden near Sainte Mère Église

Located in the heart of the D-day commemorations and festivities, our house is in the center of the charming town of Picauville.
All shops are accessible on foot in less than 1 minute and you will also benefit from a large enclosed garden adjoining the cottage.

Our house includes on the ground floor:
1 large bedroom with a 160cm bed.
I bathroom (shower, sink, toilet, washing machine)
1 very bright living room with a view of the garden consisting of a new equipped kitchen (induction hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, filter coffee maker and Nespresso Virtuo (capsules to be provided by you), kettle, fridge freezer, beer tap)/multifunction robot/dining room/living room (sofa, armchair, TV)

Upstairs :
1 bedroom with a 90cm single bed and a baby bed. Changing table.
1 large bedroom with a 140cm bed.

Our house is completely equipped to accommodate a baby. Travel cot with real mattress, high chair, safety gate for the stairs, infant bath, changing table, walker, playpen.
Board games and books available.

Exterior:
South-facing terrace with dining area and garden furniture
Large garden of approximately 600m2 with trees, flowers and completely enclosed, equipped with a barbecue, a swing/slide and a pétanque court (remember to bring your pétanque balls) and a ping-pong table .
Outdoor games: molky, badminton set, shuffleboard, ping-pong table.
Linen will be left upon your arrival. (Fitted sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, 1 set of towels, bath towel and glove per person and 1 tea towel).
Possibility of parking a collector's vehicle there during the D-day commemorations period.

Our house is in the heart of the June 6 festivities.
On site, numerous commemorations, festivities (meals with American, German and other nationality soldiers), German camp.
5 minutes (4km) by car from the historic site of La Fiere where the commemorative D-Day parachute drop takes place each year.
10 minutes away (9km) you will find yourself on the mythical and historic square of Sainte Mère Église (first city in France liberated by the air). Numerous festivities and reenactments. Camp geronimo.
20 from Carentan and Utah Beach where many commemorations and festivities take place. Numerous reconstructions of allied camps.
These few minutes by car will be punctuated by numerous museums and must-see places from the Second World War (WWII).

Comfortable, clean, well equipped house in a quiet location with lots of amenities in the village. It was well placed for visiting the Normandy beaches and museums. We recommend this property.

Maison tres agréable à vivre avec tout le matériel necessaire. Le seul problème est pour se garer en période estivale.Le jardin est un plus pour les enfants qui en ont bien profité. Bruit génant venant des voisins sinon merci encore pour l'accueil qui nous a été réservé.

Nous sommes très heureux de notre séjour chez Nolwenn qui, malgré qu'elle ne soit pas sur place, a été très disponible pour nous avant et pendant notre séjour. La maison est hyper agréable à vivre avec un immense jardin équipé d'une balançoire, idéal pour les enfants ! Nous recommandons ce logement, très bien situé pour visiter un peu partout dans la Manche ;) Merci encore à Nolwenn pour son accueil.

Ravis de cette location, emplacement idéal dans le bourg, commodités toutes proches, et emplacement idéal pour séjourner dans le Cotentin avec activités variées pour toute la famille, plage, marchés locaux, aquarium, parc animalier etc. Le jardin et la terrasse offrent un atout supplémentaire pour profiter du séjour avec les enfants. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis très bien dans ce gîte. Nous gardons l'adresse car nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans le Cotentin, nous y avons laissé des endroits à découvrir !! merci Nolwenn pour vos gentilles indications .

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en Normandie. Le gîte était spacieux, très propre, bien agencé. Les échanges ont été très cordiaux avec la propriétaire. Nous espérons y revenir . Nous n'avons pas encore tout vu de la Normandie
