"We got a friendly and efficient reception. Unfortunately, that proved to be the only good aspect of our stay. We received an email the day before arrival telling us that we should check in at the neighbouring Ibis hotel due to work on the Novotel reception. There was no mention of extensive work going on in the restaurant/bar area. I have no idea whether the restaurant was even open as signage directed you in to what looked like building work.
