We had never stayed at a WoodSpring Suites and only booked it due to the lower price and shorter stay. The manager "on duty" was nice and kind upon arrival. The room however, was not worth recommending. The bathtub was dirty, the floors were dirty, the full-sized bed was on a frame that felt so unstable and of poor quality. Every time we moved on the bed, the entire bed moved! The mattress was poor quality as were the paper thin pillows on the bed. The room was next to the parking lot and a main road so every vehicle and noise was heard the entire night. The walls were so thin we heard every person that would come and go in the hotel. There were no amenities in the hotel room (coffee maker, kleenex tissue, hair dryer, etc.) It was not comfortable to rest in let alone "hang out in" during the day. We complained to the same manager who told us "he would not even stay in this hotel", but the hotel management would not refund 2 nights stay that we were cancelling. After an entire weekend of over a dozen phone calls, Expedia also failed us and would not step in to work with us or assist. We paid for 2 nights we did not stay and were forced to pay for another hotel in addition to it. As additional feedback, people actually LIVE in this hotel. They are not quality people and one person allowed for their pit bull dog to antagonize our dogs. It was a terrible experience and we would not recommend it at all!

This property should not be rated at a 7!! A 5 at best. No room clean up or making the beds. You have to bring your towels to the front desk and exchange them for new ones. No pool and no blow dryers in the room. The front desk was often closed.

Kind of what I expected. Very bare bones. Was a place to sleep that didn’t cost an arm and a leg for a short visit. Appreciated the little gym. Didn’t appreciate zero plates or silverware that didn’t cost $40. You are very close to a lot of places.

Is this a hotel or an apartment? House hold blinds on windows, small kitchen with nothing in cabinets, metal frame cheap bed that moves every time you get in and out of bed, cheap alarm, dirty headboard, lobby where behind the desk looks like an office, check in person not talking with “please” or “thank you” and no smiling. Feels very cheap. Where else are the cutting corners? Did not feel comfortable thinking this while sleeping there. And one more thing I really dislike that only few very few hotels have ever made me do, I arrive tired, dragged my luggage into lobby, check in takes a long time, then finally, when you think you can finally go to your room, you can’t. I need to drag my luggage back outside, walk back to my car so because I have to put a parking pass on my dashboard and get them my car plate number. Then walk back again to the lobby with my luggage. Omg. I just want to go somewhere where things are nice, people are pleasant and rooms don’t look like Im staying at an old home. Come on guys.

Terrible when the front desk tries to withhold your state issued ID without letting you know. Horribly dishonest front office staff. Lukewarm shower., broken, toilet, and broken bedframe. If I had known it was like this, I would’ve never booked through Expedia to stay here. All of the positive votes appear to be paid fake reviews.

Didn’t like the fact that you have to take your Sheets and towels downstairs to change them out. The office is not always open. They roll the shutter down, it like the Snack Shack is “Closed” for the season.

This is a hard motel to review because it is an economy extended-stay motel. Safety: The parking lot is well-lit. I never felt unsafe. Cleanliness and maintenance: No major problems. The ceiling in the bathroom showed signs of a water leak from upstairs. The bathtub drain was partially plugged and so it drained very slowly. Kitchenette: Nice to have a large fridge and freezer. No ice tray. The only motel with a kitchenette that I have stayed at without dishes, utensils, or cookware. We bought paper plates and plastic utensils at the nearby Wallmart. Amenities: I enjoy a swim in the evening. But no pool. Breakfast: None. Conclusion: For what you pay, you get a safe, OK place to stay. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

The beds were terrible. Could not sleep at all. Remote control to tv didn’t work. Maintenance had to come to our room and switch out. No one was available at night or early in the morning. No bell to ring, and no one was behind the roll down window. I don’t know what we would have done if there was a true emergency. An Amazon driver tried to leave a package as we were leaving but there was no one around to receive it. He tried to give it to me thinking I was an employee. The only good thing I could say is that it was clean.

Courteous staff. Clean room. Only stayed one night, as most guests are long term, it lacks some amenities like ice machine and blow dryers. Stayed two different nights on the same trip. First nights room was below average. Bed frame squeaked, mattress seemed worn out and the A/C was loud. Room was spotless. Second stay everything was great. Would stay again as the price was 30% or more less than any nearby hotel.

The room appeared to be clean, conveniently set up and perfect for my temporary homeless status. I got the room because I had some loose ends to tie up in town before going out on the road. I was going to book another night, but then I saw the roaches. I worked in property maintenance my entire career, I know a thing or two about pest infestations. I've had to deal with german cockroach infestations. They are the worst! Where you see 1 out in the open, there are likely hundreds in the walls, cabinets, drawers. I saw an adult and a juvenile wandering around on the kitchen counter so they are successfully breeding there. Its the kind of thing that cant be spot treated as they will just move from room to room. The only way to get rid of them is to systematically shut down and treat entire floors or buildings. I couldn't stay another night, almost packed my bags and left on the spot. Instead, I just made sure none of my stuff was on the floor or touching the walls.
