Historic House

This iconic home is located in the historic district of Downtown Phoenix! You are a quick Uber to all of the events, festivals and fun of the city! The home features a master bedroom with a seating area that has a huge 65 in flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a twin bed with a twin trundle below! The home is not renovated in order to keep the historic vibe! The bathroom is renovated and designed to match the décor and charm!

This cute two bedroom, one bath 1180sqft home is located in Phoenix with a private backyard and driveway parking. This home is true to Phoenix's historic district full of charm!

Bedroom Layout:

Bedroom 2: Twin-Over-Twin Trundle Bed
Common area offers a queen air mattress and pack n play.

Guest Access:
Our guests have full access to this home during their stay. The home is keyless entry for a smooth check in both afternoon and night!

Interaction with Guests:
We are here for you, as our guest, as much or as little as you need us! We cannot fix issues without knowing about them during your stay. Please report via your appropriate channel messenger first, during business hours of 7am-7pm, if it is not an utter emergency, and we do our best to respond within an hour. If there is an emergency that needs our attention right away please contact our business line immediately! Otherwise, we like to respect our guest's privacy and will leave you to enjoy your time in our home!

The Neighborhood:
Our neighbors are our friends! We love that we can share our home with our guests and ask that everyone abide by the quiet hours from 10pm-7am so that we can continue to serve our guests without disrupting our great neighborhood.

Getting Around:
We enjoy that our home is easily accessible with Ubers or Lyfts for those who do not rent a car or drive in for their family vacation!

Other Things to Note:
This home is fully furnished and stocked with a starter amount of essentials to get you going on your trip! Please plan accordingly to purchase enough additional consumables to last for the remainder of your stay.

House Rules and Notes:
• No parties or events of any kind allowed on property
• No more than 4 cars at the house at any time
• Must be 25 years of age or older to rent. Renting person must stay in the home throughout the reservation.
• No smoking
• Check-in time is 4 PM (this time is strict)
• Check-out time is 10 AM (this time is strict)
• Early check-in and late check-out (if available fees apply)
• Pets are allowed with exceptions (pet fees apply)

Due To A New City Ordinance:
• All reservations will go through a verification process
• Please be sure your full name is entered on your reservation when booking
• IDs will be requested for verification after booking

Older property but very well maintained. Response to questions were prompt. We’ll decorated and clean. Really enjoyed my stay, close to Banner University Medical Practice.

Great Location
Excellent rental company and fantastic location. Easily accessible to awesome restaurants. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly and nice backyard space for dogs.

OLD AND DIRTY
On arrival we informed the rental company that the WI-FI did not work and the place was very dirty, there is a broken window in the bedroom and broken tiles in the kitchen, and many items that were supposed to be present were not. eg toaster and iron. At the end of the our second day a new router was installed so we sent over 40 photos of dirt on skirting boards, window sills, cooker, floors and ceilings stains on the bedding and upholstery a cleaning team arrived on the 4th day with brand new bedding the old went in the rubbish bin in the dirty back alley. the items not present arrived over the next few days. We also sent photos of the front and back garden, a garden team arrived after a week and tidied up the front garden but the back is still full of old dirty items and a lot of junk. We left on our 16th day we washed the towels and left the place clean and tidy. Finally the mould previous reported is still present in the shower room, there is still stains on the upholstery, there is still a broken window and the back garden is still a disgrace. the place is very old and we would recommend VRBO to remove this property from their books.

Great neighborhood but not so great accommodations
Property is managed remotely and in dire need of cleaning. WiFi was very complicated to figure out due to a massive basket of tangled cables containing the equipment. Overall I think this property is managed remotely they probably just need to come by physically and make some small improvements to restore the property to good condition. Overall you get what you pay for as the price was relatively low compared to other listings in the area.

Historic house near downtown
We had to be in town for a conference that was downtown. The location of the property was perfect. Lots of fun restaurants/coffee shops nearby. The kitchen was small but we didn't cook so it was all good. The bed was super comfy and the back yard was nice for ending the day outside in the afternoon and listening to birds in the morning.

Amazing Location
I loved being in the historic district—so many greats walks. The house has oodles of charm but my stay was marred by some small issues. The code I was provided to unlock the door didn’t work and it took nearly an hour to connect with the property manager to get a different code. This delay caused real problems as it made me late in picking up a friend at the airport. I would also recommend the owners add some sort of window coverings in the living room. It’s a lovely space but at night we weren’t comfortable using it since you are fully on display from the street. I would also caution guests traveling with a dog to be aware the side gate in the backyard does not stay closed. The latch is old and twisted and needs to be replaced.

Great little getaway!
Great little getaway! My husband an I eloped and rented this historic home for a staycation honeymoon. We had a wonderful romantic stay in this vintage chic home. The house was cozy and the back yard set up allowed for many romantic stargazing nights perfect rental for December in Arizona. We were permitted to host a small dinner party during our stay and the amenities and kitchen made it a breeze to host. Our few guests were also mesmerized with the vintage charm and atmosphere of this quaint little home. My husband is a handyman and quite picky finding small issues here and there but nothing to disrupt our visit. We were bummed to find out that the TV in the master bedroom / den area was not working upon arrival however us honeymooners did not stay there to watch TV. The porch made for some wonderful mornings with a cup of coffee and a greeting from the neighborhood kitties how were as friendly as can be! We loved this home and hope to return for our anniversary!

Charming
The house definitely has historic charm. We had a few hiccups along the way but they property manager was most accommodating and so quick to reply. Located centrally, easy to get to the airport, freeways and most importantly all the good food.
