Upon arrival though, we waited some time while the correct property manager was found for our condo rental. The Alto Vista chapel was built in 1952. The long winding road leading to the church is lined with white crosses marking the stations of the cross. It is a special place people use to find peace and contemplation. We visited this while on an ATV tour. in the morning it is back-lit but later in the day picture taking is more friendly.

After visiting the Aruba Bushirbana Ruins (Old Sugar Mill), Lynn and I drove North along a dirt road that followed the East coast ocean cliffs for about 1 mile and came across this isolated private beach. There was no-one out here as everyone turns around at the Ruins. I don’t have a name for this beach, but Google Maps identifies as Wariruri Bay and the map tag is exactly where the pic was taken. One of the intriguing things about this area on the East Coast of the island is that there are 100s of Thousands of rock stacks. They carpet the coast and were even found in this isolated beach. If visiting the island, rent your own car or jeep to explore the vast dirt roads that follow the coast line at your leisure. Most tours will turn around at the Ruins. #BeachTips #LocalSecrets #Trovember
