"We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and in an excellent location. The kitchen and living area were both well-equipped and comfortable, making it a great place to relax. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. "The room was clean, fresh bedding on bed, tea/coffee available in room. We only saw 1 member of staff who showed us our room, she was friendly. We didn't use the bar. We only stayed 1 night. The only issue was the shower leaked but it is a 15th century building which slanted in each room. The music from the bar cut off at 10pm. We did sleep well."

"First impressions when i parked up and looked at the building was that it looked tired and in need of some tlc, when entering the reception area it was immaculately clean and bright with welcoming friendly helpful staff. Walking to my room i was impressed by the dining area and bar. My room was spotless and very comfortable with the best blackout curtains. Very impressed with the room but a personal preference would have been to be on the first floor. All the staff were excellent and the breakfast was exceptional. I will definately stay again and hopefully enjoy just as much."

"What a lovely hotel, everything was excellent. The only issue we had was being told by 2 members of staff that the kitchen closed at 9pm but when i went down to place a food order at 8.45pm i was told the kitchen had already closed at 8.30pm as it was a Sunday. Breakfast was fantastic and an added bonus as included within the price. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area."

"Lovely room overlooking the canal. Fantastic spa facilities and wonderful facial by Sian yesterday albeit the neck and shoulder massage was too light for me and like it a lot deeper. Food good other than the calamari on the spa day which you couldn’t really taste (far too small better off having just a couple of whole pieces). Cod is beer batter absolutely delicious. Chips not so much. Would highly recommend especially the spa, definitely one of the best I’ve been to. I will for sure be going back there again"
