Wrangell Narrows Seaside Getaway with Hot Tub

Our prow-front 1-Bedroom condo on Wrangell Narrows is the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee while you watch the ships roll into Petersburg, Alaska. Orca, porpoise, seals, sea otter and eagles are very active on these shores. The accommodations include a spacious queen bedroom, large master bathroom with walk-in rain shower, full kitchen, living room with leather seating and a queen-size murphy bed (sleeps 2-4). Relax in the hot tub that overlooks the Narrows. Blind River, hot spot for salmon fishing is 8 minutes away. $175 for 2 people/night (+) extra $75/night per person.

Amazing Alaska Experience

We loved our stay at Wrangell Narrows! This is our second year here and again we had a wonderful time and especially at this beautiful home. Attention to detail, super clean, super comfortable, fully appointed kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Beautiful home and location. Deer came right up to the home. Short drive into town for restaurants and shops. Easy drives to local hikes and fishing. We saw bears, eagles, seals, porcupines, humpbacks whales, and so many birds. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed, gave great suggestions for the area, and were friendly but not intrusive. One of our favorite vacations!

Returning home after 25 years

Darcie and Dan were amazingly friendly, personable and welcoming. My husband and I traveled back to Petersburg to see family and celebrate 20 years together in the place we met 30 years ago. The ease of check in and out was amazing. Our Dogs were welcome and for our time there it felt like home. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves returning. Our hosts made sure we had a wonderful, beautiful, relaxing stay.

Super Comfy and Gorgeous Location

We loved our stay at the Getaway! Darcie and Dan made every effort to be sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. The view is outstanding, great fun to watch the procession of fishing boat headed out for openings. We will be back as we come often to visit family in Petersburg!

We spent a wonderful 7 nights at the Wrangell Narrows Seaside Getaway! Darcie was super sweet! Provided transportation to and from the airport and checked in on us during the week by text to see that our needs were met. Not one detail was left undone. Area was just enough room for 2 adults, 1 teenager and 1preteen. We hope to visit this property again in the very near future. Relax - Unwind - and Enjoy the Beauty of Nature

The property exceeded our expectations and offered stunning views from every window. Our Hosts Darcie and Dan were very helpful and answered all of our questions. The property is close to Petersburg for exploring and also easy access to get to the charters to go on whale watching or glacier tours. We were able to explore the Tongass National Forest and go on some great nature hikes as well. If your travels take you to Petersburg - I highly recommend a stay at the Wrangell Narrows Seaside Getaway.

Wonderful hosts, the best!

Our expectations were exceeded. This downstairs VRBO is really a one bedroom unit with second bed in part of living room. Our family group was me (grandpa), son and grandson. There are also cots available for either bedroom or living room. We won’t be even looking for other options on our next trip to Petersburg.

Beautiful house with great host

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Darcie was the greatest host ever. She picked us up at the airport, took us to the house, and then took us back into town to pick up our rental car. She also put some many little thoughtful touches into our stay that just made it incredible. The house is perfect for a couple. It is nicely sized and all of the finishes are high end and beautiful. The view from the living room is incredible and makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere Alaska. The hot tub is a really nice touch as well. It is a bit far from town, but not a big deal as long as you have a car. If you are thinking of renting this place, stop thinking and just do it!!!!!

Fantastic Family Getaway

Awesome two week “homebase” for our Alaska Adventure! We could easily plan fun day trips and then conclude the evenings with family/friend dinners and relaxation! The kitchen was perfect for prepping the day’s catch and the layout of the living room/dining/kitchen made for a great way to enjoy conversation, as well as, a play area for the kiddos. Loved the panoramic views of the Narrows, watching eagles enjoys meals along the shore - perching in trees adjacent to the house and swooping across the front of the windows morning and evening. Morning coffee was so relaxing watching the water too! Our kiddos really enjoyed exploring the tide pools during low tide at the base of the property and found HUGE starfish. We also set out a few crab pots and scored a tasty dinner! Our hosts were amazing and the hospitality was 5 Star with such attention to the helping make our stay memorable, relaxing and fun! Highly recommend extended stays here! We’ll be back!
