I have traveled extensively and visited 45 countries, so I have stayed at many different hotels around the world. Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing. I was surprised that the hotel did not allow check-in until 4:00 p.m. When I arrived, the reception staff member was not particularly friendly or welcoming. Perhaps that is simply her usual manner, or perhaps I happened to arrive at a busy time, but as a guest, I would have appreciated a warmer and more welcoming attitude. When I checked out, I left wishing that the management would consider providing additional customer-service training to the reception staff. A friendly smile, a welcoming attitude, and a little more attention to the guest experience can make a significant difference. I hope the management takes this feedback constructively, as I believe the hotel could provide a much better experience with a stronger focus on hospitality and guest service.
