Perfect trip to calm down

We had a lovely stay at the flat in middle of a pine forest. It was super quiet and the perfect place to calm down at the pool and visit cities in the near like Avignon. Be prepared for the mosquitos.

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen in dem Mazet von Lauriane verbracht. Ruhig am Rande von Pernes les Fontaines gelegen, ein Ort, an dem man sich sehr gut erholen kann mit einer sehr freundlichen Gasgeberin Lauriane.

Traumhafter Urlaub oberhalb von Pernes-les-Fontaines

Das etwas außerhalb des Ortes auf einer kleinen bewaldteten Anhöhe liegendes Anwesen, ist von einem Pinienwald umgeben. Man hat eine tolle Aussicht auf den Sonnenuntergang. Der Pool und die Wohnung sind sauber und Lauriane, die ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück wohnt, ist eine sehr angenehme Gastgeberin. Von der Lage her ist Pernes-les Fontaines geeinget für mittelschwere und schwere Fahrradtouren. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wandertouren im Canyon Provencal, in den Dentelles oder im Ockergebiet ist der Ort ebenso zu empfehlen, wie für Besichtigungstouren nach Avignon, Orange, Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontain de la Vaucluse, Senanque, Carpentras, Cavaillon, .... und den vielen kleinen umliegenden Dörfern. Wir haben unsere zwei Wochen Urlaub genossen, auch wenn der letzte Anstieg zur Unterkunft sehr steil war.

Marvelous Retreat in Charming Provence

The gated hillside property, several hectares of forest with a lovely home enjoying a wide-ranging view of the countryside is only a five-minute drive from picturesque Pernes Les Fontaines. The friendly owner was very gracious in accomodating all our needsl The sparkling pool is cool and refreshing, The apartments are spacious and well equipped for cooking, reading, relaxing. Un lieu magique où je viens depuis 4 ans déjà ; et j'en redemande encore cette année. Propriétaires sympas et accueillants avec de bon tuyaux locaux pour nous aider à découvrir cette magnifique région. Et surtout les cigales ..... qui chantent toute la journée.

Joli cadre et logement impeccable

Propriétaires attentionnés et sympathiques, cadre très agréable et calme avec un beau parc et une piscine. L'appartement est propre, fonctionnel et très bien équipé. La région est superbe et propice à de multiples ballades. Les habitants sont fort ympathiques. Un petit bémol pour la location du bas avec terrasse puisque les propriétaires sont obligés de passer devant pour se rendre à leur occupation. Cela restreint l'intimité des locataires qui s’y installent pour déjeuner ou tout simplement lire ou se reposer. Autre petit point négatif est l'aboiement constant des trois chiens lors du passage dans le chemin qui donne accès à la propriété. Pourtant j’adore les animaux, mais j’avoue que cela m’a parfois irrité.

"Le logement est superbe, bien équipé sur un très beau site. Tout est impeccable et très confortable. Les proprios sont discrets et de très bons conseils. La piscine est très appréciée après une journée sous le chaud soleil. Le village de Pernes est magnifique. Excellente location pour visiter cette magnifique région des la Provence, tous les sites touristiques sont à moins de 60 minutes. Merci beaucoup pour ce beau séjour."

"We had a very happy two ...

"We had a very happy two months staying in this comfortable apartment. The hosts Jacques and Laurette are wonderful people. They are very friendly and always helpful without intruding on the privacy of guests. Pernes Les Fontaines is in the heart of Provence and allows easy access to this gorgeous area. The town itself has several excellent restaurants and is rich in medieval history. There is also a superb patisserie. We indulged often and so appreciated the walk home. The house is at the top of a steep hill, so it's great exercise if you decide to leave the car behind. It's also good to have the hosts nearby, because if a lightbulb blows or there's any problem at all, it is fixed immediately. I could not recommend this place more highly. It's a lovely place to stay."
