We have been to Penticton many times but when the kids were younger. Staying on the other side of the lake where all the wineries was such a pleasant experience. The Bed and Breakfast has a beautiful view of the lake and the vineyards. Kristen was a wonderful host and the breakfasts were delicious with many German additions. The jams and the bakery items are made in the kitchen. We highly recommend OK Whistle Stop.

The people who run this B&B are wonderful! Very friendly and accommodating. And breakfast is a real treat. Traditional German offerings combined with homemade jams and breads. The room was very spacious, the bed so comfortable and views over the lake make this place so special. It is also within walking distance of a local winery/bistro that has an incredible menu.

Beautiful View

Beautiful gardens and a stunning view from the deck that spanned the entire length of the house. Our two bedroom was very clean, and the kitchen was an added bonus. The pool was like new and was super clean - it was perfect for cooling off after a hot ride (the trail is right beside the property?). Lovely hosts and an overall wonderful stay.

I was surprised with the size of our unit and the amenities, mini fridge, dishes, dining table , living room with separate bedroom. Keratin was an excellent host, breakfasts consisted of large call ingredients with a German style. The location was perfect for accessing KVR and local wineries and breweries. Thank you!

Exactly what we were looking for

My wife and I loved our stay at the OK Whistlestop... Just a quick two-night stay, but we loved our swim in the pool each morning and of course Kerstin's morning, homemade breakfast complete with cherry juice and served outside on the deck. Very Okanagan... Our suite was the Hamburg suite (some sites call it the Romance suite). The one-bedroom suite... Lots of room to move around with a living room, a kitchen with table and a little fridge. We loved our stay... Though we didn't bring our bikes to ride to wineries along the KVR trail, maybe that's something for next time. Thank you.

Fantastic Spot!

We went to a wedding nearby and stayed here for location. What we didn't know was how fabulous the B & B hosts were going to be, as well as the comfort of the rooms! Large space w living room and kitchen, beautiful setting and a homemade breakfast that was better than anything we could have found at a 5 star restaurant! Lovely stay!!!

Ok Whistle Stop is a lovely B&B with spacious rooms that accommodate up to six people. They have a lovely view of the lake, are well located and serve a delicious (European style) homemade breakfast. The owners are helpful and friendly and operate a safe and quiet property.

Our stay was wonderful and we loved the accommodations. Our original booking at another B&B was canceled near midnight, the night before we were to arrive, and Kirsten was amazing in helping us secure a room and making our trip memorable. You are right in the heart of Naramata and the wine tours, and Penticton is a short drive away so the location is superior. You are on the side of the water, not across the busy road, so the views are spectacular. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the food was fantastic! We will return.
