Perfect Accommodations!

I was here for an 8 week contract at the hospital. Location could not be better. The house had everything I needed and the hosts even left a Christmas tree for me which was greatly appreciated being far from home for the holidays. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Fantastic Location & Accommodation

This was the perfect spot for us to spend a week with family enjoying BC’s sights and wine country. Trail house is perfectly equipped for four people and there isn’t much the hosts haven’t thought of! Cozy blankets, outdoor seating, two en suites, comfortable beds, ample room for cooking, parking, etc. Thus is our second visit to this property. We loved it and I’m sure we will come again!

Great place

The Trail House is a great place to stay in Penticton. Just as pictured and well appointed. Very quiet. Comfy bed. The patio was a relaxing place to enjoy a beverage both in the morning and evening. Really appreciated the storage locker for our bikes too. We would definitely stay here again.

Ironman Canada Stay

This place was awesome. The owners thought of every detail when they built this Vrbo. Great location. It was very clean, lots of info about the area and Larry and Vicky provided their preferred spots to check out. We will be back! Best 11 days we spent in Penticton.

Great place for a Penticton escape

The four of us stayed for 5 nights and we had a wonderful time. The property was clean and inviting, we had everything we needed. The hosts were very amiable and responsive. Location is close to Safeway and other shops, we drove to both lakes to enjoy the beaches. The hosts prepared a guide of what to see , do and eat around so I am sure anyone will feel happy and well rested after a vacation here at Vicki and Larry’s place. Thanks again.

Beautiful lane way house accommodations. Spacious and clean. Every detail looked after and some spices etc in cupboard to help with cooking. Details like this make the difference in your stay. Kitchen had everything you could need. Patio outside for supper was great.

Simply Amazing

Thank you for making our trip simply wonderful! We came to the valley to enjoy wine country with friends. This rental was perfect in so many ways! From the welcome wine, to the recommendations for restaurants and attractions, and all the little details thought of! For two couples having a separate en-suite was a dream and we made ample use of the patio to enjoy charcuterie and wine in the evenings. We will certainly rent this place again as it met all our expectations and many more!!! I’ve already told my dear friend who visits this area often than this property is not to be missed!

Perfect place to stay

This is a very nice place to stay. It was my hubby and I with our friends, a mom with her 8 year old daughter. The bedroom layout is perfect for two separate small families, as each bedroom has is own ensuite. We really enjoyed our short stay here. It is close to a few beaches and restaurants. Our stay was supposed to be longer, but due to a wildfires north of us, the government asked all tourists to leave to free up rooms for those that were evacuated. We are making plans for our return for next year with our friends and see and do everything we didn’t. As a side note. Vicki and Larry worked very hard to ensure our wellbeing and worked with VRBO so we were refunded to days we were asked to leave.

Trail house delight

Great stay in Penticton

This is a wonderful place to stay to explore Penticton and area. Vicki and Larry are responsive and friendly hosts that have put much thought into creating a comfortable vacation home. The secure bike storage is fantastic and proximity to the KVR makes it an ideal base for cyclists. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent property!

This was a beautiful rental with everything you could need. The 2 bedrooms with en-suites were perfect for 2 couples. The hosts were excellent and got back to us within minutes. We would definitely stay there again.

A perfect stay and bike property

Awesome rental experience

If you want ideas about how to design, build, furnish, equip and host an awesome vacation rental, you should stay here. If you want to enjoy the benefits of this process, as we did, you should stay here! We especially liked the secure bike storage and the patio was a great place to enjoy after long bike rides.

Perfect Okanagan getaway!

Everything that was promised and more. This home is new and beautifully furnished. Perfect accommodations for two couples, plenty of space. Great central location, it was an easy drive to wineries, beach, downtown, and more. Great nearby golfing. This place will definately be our first choice for future visits to Penticton. Amazing Place in a Great Location

We stayed at the Trail House for 5 nights while in town for a golf tournament. It was the perfect space for us (2 couples). It is bright, clean and well laid out. Very comfortable beds and air conditioning works great. Vicki is a wonderful host, she came over and showed us around within minutes of our arrival. There was also a list of activities she left with us as well as a chilled bottle of wine. Everything about the Trail House was very well thought out. The location is excellent too, right in the middle of Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake. We are already planning on staying again next year!

Amazing!

We found this place on home and away and it actually exceeded all of our expectations. The cleanliness of the condo was excellent. Everything from the furniture to appliances were modern and didn't look old. The bedrooms were large and the patio was perfect! The location was perfect as it was close enough to all the stores and downtown penticton and yet isolated enough from all the hustle and bustle of all the traffic. The most important part of the stay was by far our hosts. From the minute we landed we felt like we knew Vicki for years. Her hospitality was amazing. She had a bottle of wine for us, bought us granola because we had a late flight in and even allowed for a late checkout. She made our vacation amazing! I would highly highly recommend this place to everyone! We know we most definitely will be back.

Cycling Holiday

This, our second stay, was just as inviting and worry-free as the first. Our kind hosts put together an information binder, which they updated since our first visit, that is superb and covers a lot of ground, from dining (including gluten free options) and craft breweries to cycling routes. The accommodations are top class and the layout well designed, relaxing and importantly, at night, very quiet. A separate and secure bike shed is super handy. Trail House is located centrally in an area equidistant from the two main beaches, and only a short drive to either beach. It is also only a block away from a dedicated bike lane on Government Street, so it's easy to jump on your bike and quickly get anywhere in town and/or onto the various bike routes. Communication with the owners is efficient and timely and we were never left hanging on the one or two questions we had. Five stars.
