Reserved a room days prior. Exhausted from hours and hours of commute. Was so ready to relax and shower and sleep. Got to the property & checked in. Received my key card. Entered the room & it was FILTHY. It was not cleaned after the last guests. Dirty used towels on the floor. Bed sheets on the floor. Wrappers and food on the tables. Immediately went to front desk and told them. Expected another room. “Unfortunately all our rooms are occupied and the cleaners don’t get in until the morning.” It’s about 5am. What the hell were me and my husband going to do until then. I cried. Not worth the money to get another expensive ass hotel room somewhere else to only shower and sleep for a couple hours until we had to check out. We had to sleep In our car and alter our plans all because of this. So miserable. Livid doesn’t even describe this horrible experience. Gave me a refund on only one of the two nights I reserved. Honestly shouldn’t have had to pay at all for the kind of experience they put us through. Absolutely ridiculous.

Overall, decent place for the price. It seemed as if some people were living on the property. My mother-in-law got bit by something in the middle of the night as she was sleeping. She woke up because of the painful itching. The area was red and swollen. Did not see any bed bugs but it could have possibly been one.

Thank you for being our guest and leaving your feedback. We have many people who get bit by a no-see-um outside which are prevalent in Florida, which will often do exactly what you are saying. They sometimes take a while to get red and itchy. We had a guest go to the doctor telling them that they were bit by bed bugs and the doctor told them it was no-see-um bites, and the guest wrote to us and apologized. We have a few extended stay guests, but very few.

Thank you for being our guest and leaving your review. When you book a room, you are only booking a room type. The room is not assigned to you until you get here, because there are many circumstances where we have to move people around at sometimes.

Reasonably priced and modest.
The Lobby was beautiful and very inviting. However the room was not as clean especially the bathroom which is partially due to its age making it hard to make it look clean and shiny. The motel was much older than we anticipated and that makes it more of a challenge to make it fresh and inviting.

The place was clean and looked nice, but the toilet was cooked, our room was positioned underneath the bright outside sign that still leaked light into the room, the beds were pretty uncomfortable, the vending machines stole money without vending, & the housekeeper didn't clean our room. I would consider staying in a better room at the back of the property with better beds.

The young lady that was at the desk when we checked was fantastic. We were stranded in Pensacola due to a car accident. We had injuries and did not get to hotel until after 2:30 am. She was so helpful and kind. Day shift personal were great as well. Made a terrible day much better

Not handicap friendly.
We had a very comfortable room close to parking. Everything was clean and nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue is it was not handicap friendly even though advertised as that. No bar to pull up near toilet and toilet too low for a handicap person. No adequate safety railing in shower. Bar was located at knee level making it impossible to hold onto when in shower. Bed was too high to transfer onto alone so had to be lifted into bed.

Main building, lobby was as advertised, rooms were not properly taken care of, or properly cleaned. We booked two rooms well in advance and requested to be close together. At ck in, they wanted to put us in different buildings. We decided to not ck in ans forfeited one nights stay with the second to be refunded. It still has nor been refunded.We were told not to go to Walmart after dark and to only travel north to look for other accommodations. When the wife and her sister dont feel safe i will take the loss of one night for 2 rooms.

I liked my experience at check in, Lincoln was very knowledgeable, kind, informative and helpful. Check out with Dana went well. The system that this property has-works really well and it doesn’t take long to check in or out.

The man at the front desk was absolutely rude to my wife and I. We have stayed here before with no issues but when we went to check in we were charged for the room after we had paid for it online. So we in total charged for the room we were in TWICE, on top of the $100.00 security deposit along with this man’s nasty attitude towards us. My wife was getting frustrated and she said that she would step outside to calm down and the man yelled at her, “You do that!” After she tried to be an adult and remove herself from the situation. He also refused to give us a refund, stating that we were not charged online and that we had to pay when we got there even tho we showed him all of the receipts and payments. To top it off, my wife only inserted her card once into the machine meaning the man charged her for the surety deposit the proceeded to do another transaction without her knowledge which was easier for him because the card reader didn’t require a pin to work. Overall, we will never be going there again due to this man’s poor service to us, along with his incapability to properly do his job especially with us both being military members working in the local area.

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. I did not get the same story from our clerk, but I'm checking into more of the situation. It is very unusual to hear about any of our staff reacting that way, but I apologize and I will be looking into this more. We don't want any of our guests to have a bad experience.
