I have been renting condos for over 25 years and this is my first negative review. My two sisters and I had a two night stay over the Labor Day Holiday. We arrived late Saturday evening to a warm, humid room with an odor. The room remained warm and humid until we left early Monday morning despite the fact that they sent an AC repairman to look at the unit. We were assured it was fixed, but it only got warmer and more humid after he left. We asked for fans and were given two new fans, that needed to be assembled. We had only a butter knife and car keys for tools, but somehow got them both put together. We slept a little better that night, but by 4am, we had had it and decided to clean up and head home. That AC needs to be replaced. The furniture’s is old and tired. The sofa was broken down and dirty. The chair and rug were filthy, stained, and the upholstery was pilling. The beds were clean, but very uncomfortable. There was hot glue used to repair things in the shower, mold grew on the hot glue and dropped in clumps into the tub during showers. When I dried my hair, the blow dryer warmed up the already hot and humid room so I had to take cool down breaks until I could finish my hair. I have never had such an experience as I did in room 202 at the Ocean Breeze condos.The kitchen was neat and clean and the sliding doors slid smoothly on their tracks. We could not enjoy the view because we had to keep the curtains closed to keep additional heat out of the room. AWFUL STAY.
