One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

Penola is a beautiful village and great base for exploring the region. And Sarah's Cottage is a lovingly preserved part of its history, artfully presented. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door and see a vase of flowers freshly picked from the garden.

A Break in Journey

Our stay in Penola was wonderful in this charming little cottage. The attention to detail, the extra touches and the wonderful garden made it exceptional. The location was so close to everything and the region is just beautiful

Quaint Cottage in a very central location

The cottage was lovely and in a quiet but central location. Everything we needed was provided, however we only had 2 towels for our entire 3 day stay and couldn't find more stored anywhere. The untidy garden let the cottage a bit but would be really lovely with a little TLC and a watering system on a timer.
