Dear Megan,Firstly, we would like to thank you to stay at MAUA Nusa Penida. Also to apologize for the inconvenience during your stay. As a 5-star resort, we always ensure all the guests have a memorable time with us. We have noted your disappointment about the transport that you paid Rp 763,000 (USD 50). To clarify that this price was for a half day car rental with our brand new Honda HRV and we did not just drop you to the place but the driver waited for you as part of the half day package, which is very different than just drop you. Also as information in Nusa Penida, there is no taxi company such as Bali for example but only independent driver from the village. Related to the Villa turndown, MAUA has indeed this service in the evening and after cross checking it seems that it was requested to Artana from reception not to do the turndown on the 5th April which explain why the team did not distrust with turndown service. Lastly, we are happy to inform that after many month of negotiation with local people the road to our resort is in the progress of renovation. It should be finished before the end of April.
