「We had a unique experience, I specifically choose this property for its rustic surrounding. The property is lovely, we travelled in April, and the orange and lemon trees were bearing fruit, we ate these and were amazing! The kids loved feeding the goats. The pool was too cold to use but the jacuzzi was great. The house being stone was cold, and hot water is limited but that’s part of the rustic life, we used the heaters. 「This is a beautiful house with heated floors, a heated pool and a hot tub (and all 3 worked which isn't always the case with a rental). Our 9 year old loved the pool and slide, we all loved barbecuing on the outside fire (you need to go into town to get the briquets) and we loved the spacious well-appointed house. 「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain.
