"The room was clean but had a slightly odd odor. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We had a beach view so we could see the lights on Mackinac and also the sunrise. The pool and hot rib looked very clean although we didn’t use them. The front desk was super helpful with information about the ferry and it was convenient to purchase tickets at the hotel. "

"You get what you pay for, next time we’ll spring for a nicer hotel. It was ok for one night. The only true positives we can give is that the front desk service was good, and the hotel seemed somewhat clean. The breakfast was what you’d expect, a typical hotel breakfast. The serving area was acceptable/clean, but seating was limited and cramped. The hotel and room was in poor condition, with some updates. Our hotel room carpet was ripped up in multiple places, the door was damaged and had a gap between the door and jam, the bathtub had the lining chipped/peaking up, and the footboards in the bathroom were peeling off the wall. The tub/toilet area was closed off by a door, but hard to turn around in due to it being such a small space. The air conditioner worked, but was loud and kicked on and off every few minutes. The mini fridge worked, and was clean. There was one window that faced the outside walkway, and everyone that walked by looked in. We had to shut the curtain within minutes of being in the room, making the room dark. The biggest complaint was the noise. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear everything. (People outside, guests in the room next to us, and guests above/below us) Our room was connected to the next room by a wooden door with a deadbolt and a chain lock. We didn’t visit the pool because we assumed it’d be similar, so we can’t speak to that. It is a pet friendly hotel. We saw many dogs, and a space for them to use across the street to potty. "

"Room was clean and we'll prepped. You park out front of your room, in the shade as all parking against the hotel is covered by a large car port. I absolutely love the morning breakfast. Lots of good hot food to pick from. Also complimentary ice cream and chili all might long. I ate 3 bowls. Delicious and home made. Great little hotel."

"The rooms were nice, but the Waterpark is in needed repair. They require you to wear wrist bands but it's not enforced. Housekeeping was great they provide towels and bath supplies. Didn't have luggage racks in the room, asked but never got one. Had a nice time on the beach"
