「My spouse and I had a great stay here. Very clean, quiet, and calm. Great fishing off the dock on this private lake. There is also a two person kayak to use. The owner supplied wood, fire starters, lighters, even s’mores supplies! There is a stereo in this camper with speakers outside as well so you can sit by the fire with music playing. The neighbors cat gave us a visit, he/she is very friendly and cute. I would definitely recommend staying here.」

「This is the second time we have rented this place for our 81 year old mother to stay for 2 weeks. She absolutely loves staying here! The hosts are amazing and so easy to communicate with. 「Loved the area. Lake Melissa is a hidden gem. We lucked out and stayed just as the autumn colors in the trees were at their peak! The view of the lake was incredible out of the many windows. 「We had every thing we needed! Very private and our two golden retrievers had a great time too! The pontoon was a wonderful bonus and we thoroughly enjoyed the boat rides around the huge lake! Steven was very responsive when we had any questions too. The sunsets were spectacular and paddle boarding at dusk on a glasslike lake was the best! Thank you! Our host asked for suggestions so we had a couple. An anchor on the pontoon, and maybe clearing cobwebs just before check in would be nice....

「We planned on spending our time at the annual Rollag event but found we so enjoyed the property we ended up renting a boat for tubing and hanging out all weekend at this beautiful property. 「We initially missed that we were renting a shared property with the owners, which we always avoid. But it ended up working out great! The rental side of the property is set up to where you don’t even realize it’s shared. We liked that both bedrooms were upstairs and had bathrooms attached. Great location relative to our family in Perham and the downtown area. We look forward to coming back during the summer to take advantage of the lake. 「Our family of 8 had a wonderful time at the cabin! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces. Hot tub, beach, dock, fire pit, all were great! Knocked one start off for a couple reasons..we showed up a little after 4pm and the cleaners were still there so we had to drive around for a while and eventually went to eat supper while waiting.
