Disgraceful service

I cancelled hotel booking well in advance and during the free cancellation period using the hotels.com mobile app. It's no longer appeared in my 'upcoming stays' section of the app so naturally I believed that the cancellation request had been completed correctly. However, months later, I then received an email from hotels.com asking me how my check in was! I contacted hotels.com immediately to let them know that at an error with with their cancellation had obviously occurred and they said they would look into the matter. To my horror they wrote back to me and said that at the hotel had charged me full priceand I wouldn't be getting any of my money back!! Neither the hotel or hotels.com offered even a partial refund or any sort of credit note which I find disgraceful considering I have used the application provided by hotels.com to cancel the hotel in time and in good faith. Terrible customer service. I will not be using this company again.

Ideally situated close to Peisey Ski Lift

The manageress was excellent and sorted small problems out immediately. Rooms were of a good size. Kitchenette was tiny. No cooker but there was a 4 plate electric hob and a dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets expensive at the hotel. One free session in Sauna or Steam Room. Swimming pool free. Pool table expensive. Internet access far too expensive. Lockable private ski locker is free. No reserved parking. Make your own beds or pay a premium. Clean your own room or pay a premium too. Excellent location for ski lifts, ski school, small shops, restaurants and busses. Great to have a balcony and patio doors with lovely views. Lovely and warm with underfloor heating. The company need to invest in this building as the furniture is tired and the kitchen is worn out. In the apartment there are not enough seats in the lounge or around the table for the numbers it can accommodate. Four lounge chairs for an 8 person apartment and 6 dining room chairs, although there were plastic balcony chairs if needed. One wardrobe completely filled with a giant water tank, so useless. No shelves in the bedrooms. Had to live out of a suitcase for items that wouldn't go on hangers. Could do with ground level access for skiers/snowboarders instead of outside access below ground level. Awkward access with all equipment on. On British values this is a 3 star accommodation due to lack of company investment. No food available to purchase in the property. Bakery bread order every morning was good but pricey.

Good location, clean apartment but could be better

I was disappointed with this property. The apartment itself was a good size and clean but the establishment had so many rules and restrictions, it became quite invasive. Also the check-in/check-out process was laborious. We could not access the sauna despite booking a time slot. The requirements for cleaning the property prior to departure was extensive, servicing should be available for the cost of the stay.

Nous avons passés un excellent Week-end. La résidence est proche des pistes puisqu'il n'y a que quelques marches à monter et c'est agréable, avec des casiers à ski dans une entrée secondaire. La possibilité d'avoir pain et viennoiserie le matin à la réception est très pratique. L'appartement est spacieux, propre, avec 2 chambres et un coin cabine dans l'entrée. Cependant je trouve le prix excessif par rapport à la prestation. Pour 8 personnes, capacités max de l'appart, il n'y a qu'un WC et qu'une salle de bain, un peu juste le matin. Nous n'étions que 4, et ça allé. La piscine est bien agréable mais fermé le samedi !! De plus vu le prix de la location, le wifi devrait être compris surtout que la 4g ou la 3g passaient mal à notre étage. Des détails a améliorer pour être une résidence "prestige".

очень удобное расположение на горе

очень удобное расположение между 2ух огромных зон катания,практически напротив, рядом продуктовый магазин и кулинария. Очень обходительная и гостеприимная администратор Мэри. Есть бесплатный минибассейн с джакузи. Хамам и сауна за отдельную небольшую оплату.

Ski holiday accommodation opposite Vanoise Express

Generally very good, staff very friendly. Downsides were - these are all being very critical and none of the points actually affected our stay,..... No towels on arrival, but quickly provided. No double bed sheet & dovet cover, but quickly provided Double bed was actually quite small in both width and length. While self catering we hadn't fully appreciated we'd need to buy own loo roll, salt & pepper, washing up liquid, dish cloths etc etc The sauna / steam room is 1 free session after that it's 8 euros a day or 33 euros a week per room. If this was in Expedia small print we didn't see it! At end of stay had to clean the room to pass inspection or could pay 50 euros for staff to do it - we did but again didn't notice this in Expedia small print!
