The Artist Studio is set on 100 acres of natural forest - The Wild 100 BnB. It was built to be a studio for the artist who owned the original house. It is an apartment connected to our main house by a deck but it completely private and fully self-contained. The original darkroom was converted into a modern stunning bathroom with large rainshower, bespoke natural wood vanity and a luxurious tub with plantation shutters that open to give the amazing view over the forest and Glasshouse mountains.
The bedroom has floor to ceiling glass with custom blinds fitted.
Unique location that offers complete privacy, tranquility and spectacular views that are amazing. Horizon-to-horizon view that includes the Glasshouse Mountains, mixed rainforest and eucalypt forest and absolutely no sign of people!
Overall the property has 100 acres of beautiful forest watered by several small seasonal creeks. There is a scenic little dam complete with resident water dragons and kangaroos.
Your unit is fully self contained. Our private house is connected via a deck. Guests are welcome to utilise the entire 100 acres of forest, tracks, and dam. There is another Tiny House unit as well so that is restricted to the guests staying at the Tiny House.

The Wild 100 property sits near the end of Macdonalds road and so there is almost no traffic and rarely any noise except the sounds of birds. All neighbours are many hundreds of metres away and in fact there is no other buildings visible in any direction, just forest and mountains.
Three sides of the property are bounded by environmental reserves and there is an abundance of safe and beautiful places to walk.
Access to the Wild 100 is Macdonalds road, a very good quality gravel and bitumen road that comes off Bald Knob road.
There is an information booklet in the unit to give you more detail about the appliances, the property, contacts and local things to do and see. Feel free to contact Steve if you want more details on anything.
The fridge in the unit is a small fridge. Please let me know if you need extra cold space.
There is a Weber BBQ on the deck. If you would like me to supply a BBQ meat pack at extra cost please let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
Our water is safe to drink and as good as it gets. It is rainwater with multiple filters, pH stabilised and UV sterilised.
Lights in the studio were designed for bright lighting for painting canvas so we have provided a number of lamps and candles for more ambient lighting.
