"We came out for our anniversary and had a wonderful time! The sauna and cold plunges were being repaired, which was disappointing, but understandable to service them in the off season. It was quiet and very relaxing and our text to the concierge was very quick!"

"We had a fine stay at this spacious house. Our kids loved having their own rooms since we live in a much smaller house. The kitchen was well-stocked and the little office/work area was appreciated. The comfortable, quality furniture on the decks made relaxing there attractive While, it was too cold and windy to spend a lot of time on the beach, the supply of beach chairs, kayaks, lifejackets, etc. was excellent! The proximity to the beach was close.We were disappointed that there was no hot tub due to malfunctioning equipment, even though we had specifically asked about its availability. "

"As usual the place was very clean. We arrived early he was accommodating with an early check in...we had a great time..."

"Host was responsive. The inside of the house was nice, but there are huge piles of sand at and on each side of driveway with sand covering steps leading up to house. Access to the house is not for anyone with any mobility issues. We were told to park on gravelon end of driveway, there is NO gravel on driveway and when you turn in, don’t stop or you will get stuck. There is not room for more than 2Cars without risk of getting stuck in sand. Several lights in house didn’t work. Windows in one bedroom were unlocked with air coming in and sand on windowsills from outside where sand is piled up next to house. We secured all the locks after arriving. Relatively clean inside. Table and kitchen island had been wiped down with some type of cleaner that left greasy residue behind. Brian offered house cleaners and handyman to come, but ai just cleaned myself and dealt with the light issues."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the comfort zone. The location was amazing, right on the beach. There is a huge wraparound deck that allowed our dog to outside but kept him contained. My favorite part was the guest house that is connected to the main space by the deck. The kids slept in there, had their own bathroom and TV, so they could play Xbox all day like normal. There’s a loft with a bed and also a sleep sofa in there. We will definitely be staying here again!"

"Our family had a fabulous time at Jay’s rental. We enjoyed our family time together and all the space this house had to offer! The elevator was a life saver. The fishing was great and morning coffee on the decks was relaxing. Off season in OBX is the best!"

"Wonderful home with spacious rooms and fantastic views. Decks were awesome with more than enough furniture to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and moonlit nights! Nice open kitchen and dining area with plenty of seating. Definitely look forward to coming back to this gorgeous home again!! Oh and the hot tub was much larger than I expected, very enjoyable stay and highly recommend"
