"Really fun house in a great location. We made good use of the pool, hot tub and ocean. The house has a lot of beach gear to use which is really nice to have. It’s all a little worn but it all works. The house itself is very clean and roomy. The 4th bedroom on the top floor was really warm and we ended up not using it. We could have if we really needed to but it would have been uncomfortable. The space below the house has multiple hammocks which was a fun space to hang I’d be out of the sun. The beach is beautiful and pool were the highlights. Lots of foot washes and outdoor showers which helped to keep the sand outside."

"This was my family’s first time to the Outer Banks and it was wonderful. This property was perfectly located with easy access to local shops but more removed from the busier Nags Head and Avon. The size and amenities were as expected, overall I think the property could use some general updates, but it did not detract from our amazing vacation. "

"Our family spent a week at the house in June and we did not regret it. First, the good: communication with the host was excellent! I could not have asked for better.The location is good. Just a short walk to beach. The sound is super close, visible from the house and easy to access. The house is stocked very well from outside toys, to games and the kitchen. We definitely could have left our toys and games at home and still had a great time. It was fantastic having a bathroom in each bedroom. There were 8 of us and no one was ever waiting for their turn in a bathroom. The outdoor showers are a huge bonus. The not so good: The bed in the upstairs bedroom was fairly uncomfortable. We slept upstairs to let all the kids/young adults be on the same level which left the upstairs room for us. My daughters definitely got the better end of the deal. The bugs. The location so close to the sound makes it unavoidable. Remember your bug spray! If you’re looking for a stay with lots of modern convenience, Rodanthe is not the place to be. It’s 30 mins to any significant grocery store and there’s no doordash kind of options. However, There are plenty of local restaurants/food trucks and mini markets. We would definitely return for another stay "

"The property was beautiful and relaxing. There was access to anything we needed. The elevator was perfect for supporting our needs. The grand kids loved both the ocean and the pool. This was a perfect getaway!"

"Perfect location and amenities. The house had all of the amenities you need for a beach house and it is right on the beach with no fuzz or walk. The downstairs A/C was not working, but the property team was responsive and provided timely responses alternatives to get it fixed."
