"Overall, I had a decent stay and there were a few things I enjoyed, but there were also some disappointments. I thought it was very unusual that the on-site restaurant did not accept reservations, especially since that can make planning dinner during a hotel stay more difficult. I did really enjoy the sauna and thought that was one of the better amenities at the property. However, I was disappointed that the jets in the hot tub were not working. A hot tub is something I look forward to using when staying at a hotel, so having it available but not fully functioning was frustrating. The property did have some nice features, and I can see the appeal of staying here, but I think the experience would have been better if the restaurant offered reservations and all of the advertised amenities were fully operational."

"Host (Emily) was great. Plenty of room for our family get together of 30. Many bathrooms throughout the place. Plenty of seating, plenty of refrigerators/freezers. Game room was a hit for almost every age. Could have used a little more lighting in the kitchen, there might have been a couple bulbs burnt out which didn’t help. We had to really search for bath towels for all of us so many of us used the beach towels after showers. Wish they had a bigger/better ice maker would have saved us many trips to town. Overall very satisfied. We really wanted to take the pontoon out but we were busy and we didn’t think we would have got our money worth with other activities we were doing and the cost to rent it for couple hours here or there. Definitely a great option for a bigger get together."
