This place is a 10/10. The property is beautiful! The staff were so attentive and really rope out the red carpet for the guests. I would book this again in a heartbeat. Can’t wait to go back!

Love this place. Only thing was some of the restaurants like the sushi restaurant were closed. Went downtown instead. Everyone was very friendly. Loved sitting by the big fire in the morning with my coffee.

My wife and I had a short staycation here in June 2025. Beautiful hotel among the best in Deer Valley. The vista view is incredible! Relaxing outside peacefully taking in the view from the spa after massages was the highlight of our stay.

The property is very nice and the location is spectacular. Service was as expected in a hotel at this price point. I did request a room with a view, but the view was 'partial'. I should have asked for another room since the hotel was definitely not full this time of year, but I was too tired/lazy/whatever. The hotel is definitely geared to the ski season. I cannot think of a better place with the ski in/ski out infrastructure there. I'm sure the price in winter is as breathtaking as the views.

First stay in Deer Valley

The property is poorly managed! They employing nice people that do not understand and or speak English very well. In America we expect to speak English! The service is poor because you need to repeat every order 4 times and or return wrong item delivered. I would think there are plenty of Utah people that need jobs. Not sure why most of the employees aw to not be from USA? Why the bars are un-able to make all drinks ordered, but oh well. We has issues with room that they fixed immediately. Good service. Great location and great ski resort.

Montage Deer Valley is far from the village. So one needs a car or shuttle to get around town. The property is dated. The restaurant situation is extremely disappointing. Sometimes lousy service and the food ordinary and not always at its freshest state. Choices of foods are so limited you re better off eating elsewhere which is impractical. The room i was supposed to receive said VISTA. Well we looked over a great part of the parking lot and a bit of mountain with construction going on. The pool is nice but lacks sitting space for such a large property. Not my favorite choice.

Beautiful property just about checks every box

This is a spectacular property and overall we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. Our room was beautiful, large and comfortable (we booked a Peak View Suite). We were a little late getting into the room, but were able to enjoy the hotel amenities while we waited so it was not a big deal at all. Bell staff was fantastic and bags were delivered right away when the room was available. Front desk staff was great and gave us a quick tour of the property. We had our dog with us and they were very dog friendly, provided special amenities and also have dog friendly options on the in room dining menu which we thought was super cute. We had (and have also in the past) somewhat mixed experiences with the service in the Vista Lounge and Apex . . . specifically the busiest moments (weekends, prime evening time) they just seem to not quite be able to keep up with demand. Although on Sunday evening we had fantastic service in the Vista Lounge (albeit Saturday evening left a lot to be desired). We had a couples massage at the spa and thought the facility was fantastic and the therapists were great. Being able to ski Empire lift before the general population arrives is an amazing perk . . . we had fresh snow every day we were there. Overall we loved it and will be back!

Wonderful property. The room was spacious and nice. Amenities were convenient. The only issues I had during my stay were the limitations of only being able to use Chrome Cast on the TVs, as well as the racist comment a valet staff used in reference to my uber driver.
