Booked in advance for this stay during a visit to watch the Olympics. Arrived at the hotel 6pm on a Saturday evening, the opening weekend of Olympics. We had been travelling for over 16 hours with some travel delays. Greeted by host eventually who appeared from behind a tall secure closed gate to be told there were no rooms. Host shrugged and pretended not to understand that we may not be able to find somewhere else due to Olympic event. Host implied she wasn’t even aware the Olympics were happening. Shrugged when I explained we were 2 females with nowhere to stay. I showed her the booking confirmation, again she shrugged with no words. She pointed to another hotel in the neighbourhood to try. It was a disappointing start to a trip that had been planned for 14 months. In my experience a booking here can NOT be relied upon. Or that you will be greeted with a warm or kind welcome. Expedia have been made aware of this experience.

Unpleasant stay

Terrible smell in the room. Sheets and towels were old and worn. Did not even supply a bottle of water in the room.

The worse experience ever

This is a Scam. not sure of its on Hotels.com or on the HOtel. Hotel.com, collects and reserves, then an email comes from the Hotel saying that they need payment or they will cancel. After speaking to Hotel.com personnel they assured us all was ok, but when we arrived the hotel attendant told us it was cancelled for lack of payment. We had to find something else that day. They dont even have a door or counter, some neighbors had to call them as it appears this had happened before To this date i have not received refund and now going to stake a claim with credit card.

First Trip To Paris

This was our first Family visit to Paris. I picked this hotel because of price and location. I googled location to the heart of Paris and it showed about 25 minutes. Having lived in New York for 20 years I knew this was not city center but more like a suburb. 25 minutes is a breeze to travel as we would spend all day in Paris checking out the sights. We loved this place. It is a very quiet area. The Hotel/house is huge sitting on private grounds. It was so beautiful with flowers and Fountains. This was very different to anything I have stayed in before. I usually stay about 120 nights a year in hotels for my job in USA. This was so different than anything I have stayed in before. My kids said it is the best hotel they ever stayed in. Why--Because it is different--No city hustle & bustle. Very peaceful. Owner was great to communicate with---Yes she speaks English. This place was so in line with Paris countryside living. We loved the charm of the place. We used UBER and trains to get to our sightseeing adventures. Train to Heart of city was 25 minutes. Very inexpensive to travel to your destinations. We are an adventurous family so this suited us perfectly. Also a hidden gem is that the Chateau de Versailles is about 20 minutes away by UBER. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris. I would advise to call ahead a day or 2 before you arrive to get the code to open the secure gate to property. We give this place a big thumbs up.

Très beau cadre, belle maison, super accueil. Ambiance "gîte" où on se sent à la maison :) Il faudrait peut-être mettre à jour les serrures des chambres pour un système plus facile à utiliser, mais c'est un détail

Quiet gem in beautiful garden, close to Paris

Beautiful property, entirely renovated, with a guest rooms for a B&B type concept. Charming enclosed garden. This place is like a luxurious oasis, unexpected in this area of South Paris. We were welcomed like family, Chloe was very nice and professional. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. Beats anytime sterile hotel rooms, or dirty AirBnB. I'd like to point out that in this family room, 2 beds are actually bunk beds. I wish I had known in advance, I would have booked differently: my 2 sons are very tall. They slept ok but I had a lot of venting from them!

Rustikal und schön

Rel kleines Zimmer mit kleiner Terrasse davor und viel grün. ( von daher ein wenig dunkel im Zimmer). C a 100 m davor verläuft eine Straße die rel belebt ist außer abends und nachts und Sa So wiederum angenehm ruhig. Das Frühstück findet in einem schönen Ambiente statt ( Kolonialstyl ) Typisch französisches Frühstück eben. Zu unserer Überraschung sollten wir in Bar bezahlen. ( las ich nirgends ). Alles in allem ein tolles Anwesen mit einem schön angelegten Garten und verschiedenen Größen von Zimmern auch mit Küche und freistehenden Gebäuden. Anscheinend ist die Eigentümerin vor Ort und stellt auch das Frühstück zurecht. Es war eine Erfahrung wert.
