2度目の滞在です。前回同様、素敵なホテルでした。以前は朝食が別だったけれど、ブッフェ付きの宿泊のみになっていた。ブッフェはコンチネンタルで卵料理などは別に注文しなければならない。2泊だったので飽きなかったが、毎日同じだから飽きる。前の選べる方が良かった。プールは少しリニューアルされて、ライトがつくようになっていた。このインテリアや、このホテルに泊まりたい、という特別感が好きな人には良いが、やはり狭いし、不便なところがたくさんある。 スタッフは皆フレンドリーで親切でした。

パリ市内中心地にて利便性が高く、但し喧噪を避けた場所にあることから静寂な環境も確保できる。
Cozyという言葉がぴったりするホテルで、個性的で時折驚くような内装調度品もあるが奇をてらった感はなく かなりハイレベルなセンスを感じました。 操業から既に30年を越えているとのことでしたが、古さは感じさせず、海外のセレブがお忍びで泊まるということも納得のホテルです。

サンジェルマンデプレの隠れた名宿
右岸の1区、8区辺りのホテルは豪華でも生活感がない。その点ここ左岸のサンジェルマンデプレは人々の生活が町に溢れ、隠れた老舗や美味しいレストランが多い。一部ぞんざいな輩もいるが、おおむね熱心で親切なスタッフがそれらの情報を詳しく教えてくれ3泊の滞在を楽しんだ。部屋は狭めだが機能的で、リネン類は厚く大きく、朝食は最高レベルでも料金は右岸のホテルに比べ良心的である。

装飾の絵画 インテリア全てが豪華で重厚な色使いで年代を感じる。特にホテル中央の螺旋階段は、映画のワンシーンを思わせる。徒歩で美術館にも行きやすい上、地下鉄からも近いので、どこに行くにも便利です。

This hotel is romantic, but far from practical: there is no tv in the room, but the lightning in the room is far too weak for being able to read or do something else. Also is everything small (shower cabin, bath,…) and the positioning of the door handles is very low. The chairs in the breakfeast room might be very cosy to rest in, but again not practical for eating breakfast. The breakfest however was all you need and can expect (especially the quality of the pastries was excellent). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location of this hotal is excellent for discovering, located in a quiet street.

Worth a short stay, for historic connections.
This is a small luxury hotel in rue des Beaux-Arts where Oscar Wilde stayed (and died). It is charming and historic but as a result the rooms are very small and do not have the easy comforts of a more modern hotel. For example, there is very limited cupboard space. Also the bathrooms are old fashioned, with a rather awkward hand held "shower over bathtub" arrangement. The bath was also very high with a wide lip which made it awkward to climb into and required great care not to slip. That said it was fun to stay for a couple of days and the staff were friendly and helpful. Generous breakfast and nice public rooms.

Only stayed for one night, but from the short time I was there the hotel lived up to the glowing reviews I had read. The room I was in was very spacious, chic and very comfortable. A private hour booked in the steam-room/hammam and a couple of first-rate cocktails topped things off nicely.

Nice Friendly staff. Here on a 3 day stay with my daughter. Room service not great, we ordered chicken with mustard sauce, it came in a small bowl, Microwaved food by the waiter, but still cold, and a store bought chocolate dessert., 52 Euros. We ordered a separate German bed, it wasn’t there. Eggs Benedict for breakfast was terrible, a slice of bread , ham, badly poached egg and a small bowl of congealed/split sauce, certainly not Eggs Benedict. It’s very obvious this hotel doesn’t have a chef and relies on waiters reheating food. Shower flooded bathroom. No TV in rooms, when asked I was told this is the new style of room. Pool dirty and needs cleaning, smells quite bad. Lots of dirt on the pool walls and ladder. Still, charming hotel, but does rely on the Connection with Oscar Wilde for bookings. The staff are what makes this hotel and they work hard. The food is a big let down.

Our goal is to try to have the best way of service and the staff is doing his best to achieve that. Regarding the food, you are totally right, unfortunately, we no longer have any restaurant at L'Hotel, so no Chef but we have a lovely cook. We are very sorry that you did not like the eggs. We will retrain him to have them properly done. Concerning the room service, we are sorry that you did not like the meal and espacially that it was not warm as it should have. For the TV, we are actually trying to see how much they are required as they seem so strange with the decor in our rooms and we are looking to have a no screen hotel for health purposes. Please be assured that we duly noted that you would have enjoyed a TV and we will see in the near future, if we should have them back. For the state of the hotel, please be assured that our owners have some refurbishment planned in the near future to improve everything. They do love L'Hotel and want to instill this feeling to our guests. We do assure you that our aim is to make our guests happy and to make them leave L'Hotel with a fond memory of the place and of Paris. As a nice gesture, we would be delighted to offer you a 20% discount from the room rate. Please let us know if you would accept. We are looking forward to your response. Tired and needs updating
Great location; I can imagine this was once a great stay, however, rooms are a little tired and the bathroom is in need of updating (eg, mixer tap on bath to have a shower, but couldn’t direct the water, so it dribbled from shower head and tap)…not the biggest issue in the world but certainly not a 5* experience. Evening Bar and cocktails great. Breakfast forgettable and service very slow, waited 10mins for a member of staff to order a coffee.

Wonderful location in the arts district. 4 minute walk to the Sein river. Lots of close restaurants and shops. The property is beautiful, rooms aren’t huge but are spacious enough. Bathrooms are big and well appointed. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Included breakfast for a higher rate was well worth it. Be aware that there is an extra city tax not included in the Expedia rate. We visited for our wedding anniversary and would absolutely stay here again- great experience!

This chic boutique hotel was fantastic! Great area close to action, but quiet at night. Never crowded with only 36 rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Great room, comfortable bed. Great continental breakfast and bar service, Only issue was the air-conditioning never worked well ... it never got the room down to 21 C... would go back!

Unfortunately this property has seen better days. It’s just flat out old with zero modernization at all. Musty smell echoes throughout the hotel and the amenities are just really poor. We stayed in their biggest room L’apartment and for $1100 a night it’s just not worth the price with other options available. Advertised a king bed, it’s a queen. Shower is so small you can barely fit in it and filled with grout, the second vanity sink is literally the worst sink I’ve ever seen in a hotel, carpet peeling up from the floor. Just a really disappointing place that’s seen much better days.

The hotel building is of exceptional beauty and charm. It oozed charm from every corner. Cleanliness and service were perfect. The aircon unfortunately was not working properly to the point of as if it was nonexistent we had to open the window and the staff helped with bringing a fan which helped a bit in this year’s the heat of August in Paris. The room was a bit on the small size and the bar fridge was so small and was inside a cabinet that made the entire place hot. The highlight that we were waiting for was the Turkish Hammam which was not working but we were not told that it was not working when we booked to use it , a cold Turkish Hammam ??!!!
