  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Nice condo on the beach with amazing view

I love staying at Long Beach Resort. This quaint condo was clean and cool. It isn’t very big but perfect for me and my son. I reported an issue with the outlets in the bedroom (loose) and they responded right away and fixed them. With so many complaints about elevators in PCB, this place is a dream. Almost zero wait. There are several pools… which are clean and well taken care of. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Good place besides the roaches

We walked in day 1 and everything was fine. Come day 5, i killed 4 roaches. I have never had roaches or had to live with roaches until then and I am 37. Luckily we didn't bring any home with us. This os more the property managers issue than the owners. I will say my hubby is a germapobe and he thought it was clean compared to what most places look like. We didnt have to clean as muxh when we arrived. The location and place was beautiful but the roaches killed it and made me past ready to go home.

The condo was nice. The location was great. Fast elevators. The only complaint we have is the carpet was kinda nasty and the smell of the condo was not pleasant AT ALL. Other than that, we enjoyed the property and we love Longbeach!

Worth renting

The overall experience was great! Perfect size condo for two people; great balcony view of the beach and GoM; surrounding area had lots of other things to do and two worthwhile shopping experiences; had a slight pest problem (cured with one can of spray) which probably resulted from someone staying in the surrounding rooms. Whole compound is gated parking with security officers 24/7 and they check your amenity bands frequently while walking around.

3rd time at this resort

This is the 3rd time at this resort but the first time using this particular management company. We are pleased as we have been each time before. You drive right up and park, and there is no check in process. You just go up to the room and put in the code that is given. SO easy. Also, the balconies are huge. Lovely property. The only thing that I complain about, that is not the fault of the unit owner/management, is that this is the 2nd time only one elevator was opporational. You can very easily at times be waiting 15/20 minutes when it's popular check-in/check-out days. Also, there are not enough buggy carts. But other than that, this property is wonderful and we will continue to come to Long Beach Resort.
