"Glad we found this hotel. Very nice stay. Clean, no cigarette smoke smell in the room or dining area. Excellent breakfast buffet, so much variety of fresh veggies and fruit included. We wish we would have eaten dinner there both days. The price is very fair, the food excellent and better than the restaurant we ate at the night before which was more expensive and of less quality. Highly recommend Venus Suites Hotel. "

"The thermal pools were fun. It made our stay. It is a large hotel and there is not much around. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. It was very busy and not relaxing "

"Big hotel geared for groups. Very convenient to experience the area and lots of space and amenities. We didnt stay long or take advantage of all but all looked good. Food was a bit mass-produced but expected based on size of the hotel. Staff were great and it served our purpose well to visit the area for a few days. "

"Very convenient for shops, bars and restaurants and a short drive away from Pamukkale. The Spa and pool facilities were good. We opted for half board - the breakfast was very good with a big selection on the buffet. The dinner was quite limited - again buffet style but if we stayed at this hotel again we would go out to eat locally. We chose a pool view when booking but were told by reception that there were no pool view rooms available. This was after they asked us to pay in full again even though we had already paid Expedia. They said that Expedia hadn't paid them. This was eventually sorted out and we didn't have to pay again luckily, Our rooms were not cleaned or serviced during our 2 night stay and the floor in our room was sticky in places. However, on the whole, this hotel is good value for money with good spa facilities."

"This hotel is average . I stayed here for 6 nights with my husband . We noticed a lot of refurbishments work being carried out in the hotel during our stay. This hotel has all the facilities including a fully equipped gym and spa. The main reception area , main pool and our room were stunning and excellent. However, a fair amount of repair and refurbishments are required in other areas . We especially loved the thermal pool, ( the local area is known for natural hot springs ) however, this needs regular maintenance as it was unusable on one of the days, which was sadly very disappointing. My husband and I really enjoyed the spa treatments we received, the Balinese masseurs were very professional and polite. The spa manager provided us with very hospitable and friendly service. We enjoyed half board at Lycus River and the food was varied and delicious .Overall, the staff here at the hotel are extremely hard working and polite. In my opinion they are very customer focused . I am confident, with the necessary refurbishments and pristine maintenance, Lycus River could easily be an excellent 5 star hotel. "
